It's wonderful to be a fan of someone who is as great as a human as they are in wrestling.

All in all I'd say D Bry (Or Bry D now if you prefer) has had a pretty succesful WWE Career.
My one minor disappointment is that he never won a Royal Rumble.
The 3 he could have won went to guys who didn't need it or weren't yet ready.
Oh well.

He's one of the few guys in the post Attitude Era that I've actually been interested in watching. A great talent who will alaays be remembered despite the amount of shitty booking and attempts to undermine that they inflicted on him.

On top of this being a completely class move on Bryan's part. I can't help but feel this was also his farewell to "Daniel Bryan."
There's a LOT of people who only know him as that, and he even said himself... those people might be shocked by the violence that comes out of Bryan Danielson. And after last night, with the return of the Cattle Mutilation, the joint manipulation, and the "I have till FIVE, Referee" he's definitely shoving a wedge between who he was and who he is, and that may not completely translate over. He's aware of that, and is also kinda saying, "If you no longer like what you see out of me, that's fine. Thank you for being there when you did enjoy it."

I'd say the most obvious/first-strike difference was that he wasn't going to say "F***" as D-Bry, but he's got no problem saying it all day long now.

Speaking of Bryan and Vince's relationship.
They really care about each other. I can see the whole "Vince thinks of him as a son of his" type thing.

I did read that WWE respectfully asked him not to use the Yes! chants (with the unspoken acknowledgement they couldn't do much if he did) but I doubt he'd use them anyway. Those were Daniel Bryan's chants, not Bryan Danielson's.

It really showed there is no limit to Danielson’s kindness, as it’s the first recorded instance of someone treating Kevin Dunn like an actual human being and not some rodent caricature.
