NXT 2.0 pretty much held steady from its premiere, seeing only a slight dip from the week prior getting a 0.20 demo (0.21 last week) and 746,000 viewers (770K last week), finishing 11th for the night.

If this keeps up, Bron Breakker's gonna be the one to dethrone Roman when he drops the belt in 2025!

The ratings only went slightly down.
What a success!

Bron will be the NXT champ before long, I can definitely see him on the main roster one day.

I'd say artistically it was a success. Last night really seemed like things clicked on it being a fresh new brand with exciting new talent, and Ciampa feels so revitalized with the evolution of his character into the veteran who wants to ignite the next generation.

The ratings only went slightly down. What a success! The premiere/reboot of a show will almost always see its highest ratings and then the ratings tend to taper off after that. Seeing only a slight drop has to be considered somewhat of a success, especially as many were critical of the actual content of the show last week.

Something about it is endearing, it's like being at an indy show with super low expectations. Not sure if that makes sense but it's just an easy/fun watch.

I meant slightly going down from classic NXT to "new" NXT. Also I was just joking around.

Von Wagner didn't wrestle so it'll drop next week.

Next week might get an increase because of the In-Dex honeymoon stuff.

The real test is gonna be where it’s at in 6-8 weeks. If it can maintain close to these numbers, then it’s a success.

The show needed a change. That much was certain. I'm not sure if this is gonna be a permanent fix for the brand but at the very least if it keeps around this number it'll be exceeding well beyond expectations
Helps they keep just debuting random people out of nowhere so there really is an anything can happen sort of air about the promotion right now.

It does make me laugh that 5-6 times in a 120 min episode I’m screaming at my TV “WHO THE F*** IS THAT?”

It's at the very least, entertaining. And it's fun to riff on the many new characters and their gimmicks (lookin' at you, Tony D'Angelo).

This. For whatever reason NXT was just not clicking and felt more boring than anything for the better part of the last 2 years. While the wrestling quality will obviously go down and not everything will be a success, you can't say NXT 2.0 has a boring vibe

Something about the show felt weirdly innocent and charming. There was an eccentricness to the characters, with Grimes being an insane hillbilly, Bron being straight out of Wrestling Challenge, those Toxic girls acting like early Attitude Sable (before it got really raunchy), Malcolm Bivens basically being the new Harvey Wippleman. It was like an early 1990s WWF card.

Once they started hot shotting more, and booking week to week with minimal long term planning it lost all its charm.

Yep I've said for a long time that the move to USA for many reasons ended up being bad. For one, once you are on a network you have to answer to sponsors and network executives. For another fairly or unfairly you are gonna be judged against AEW since you're going head to head. I will always say for various reasons NXT should have taken the FS1 deal. Ironically from ervything I've heard USA loves what they've seen the first 2 weeks of 2.0 when they weren't fans of how things were presented since it became the CWC

I gotta say I watched most of this past episode and really enjoyed it. I actually like the presentation and think the set up looks cool. And they seem to be doing more of a character driven thing with a bunch of gimmicks, it felt really different than RAW and SmackDown. I like it so far.
