I still haven't found much information elsewhere on how wrestling's being affected by the strike.
Do their TV shows go off the air for however long the strike lasts, or will the filming crew be replaced by fancam footage?
Whatever positions are usually union work (if any) will likely be filled with non-union workers during the strike.
Both WWE and AEW use IATSE-affiliated guilds and chapters for their television tapings. While they themselves are not in dispute with the AMPTP, they won't cross the picket line, either. Non-union workers for this sort of thing are also not in large supply and it's not a good thing to be a scab.
This is a good writeup on how the strike will affect wrestling. And it will effectively shut down the American and Canadian entertainment industries until the AMPTP dislodge their heads from their asses and start treating their crews like actual human beings.

I will say there is a lot more hype for this Rampage than normal. That might be due to the fact that it's live but there's A LOT more social media excitement from the show and people posting that they're there.
