I think I would've been less sad if both Uno and Stu left than just Stu leaving. Not only is a solid talent gone, but a great tag team split up.
I guess there's always the indies and PWG.

Uno's too important to leave, he runs the Gaming division essentially under Omega, the Twitch, the upkeep of it all, he's got I guess more roles than just wrestler that are gonna keep him nailed down to AEW that Stu did not have, which might've made the money bartering harder to compromise on, which is why he chose to freelance at this point. It's interesting because they hadn't even really tag teamed a lot this year? Stu hadn't been around too much until recently, and it was never explained as to why, if he had an injury, if he had visa issues or the contract issue was the reason either, but I guess the split was what was best for everyone at this point, you don't want people miserable, especially if y'know, things change later and you can work out new deals.

Dark Order is in a weird spot because I know they want to honor Brodie Lee's memory with it by keeping them wacky happy go lucky Oddities style babyfaces. And it works to an extent when they're working on stuff like recruiting Hangman..but they have done nothing with Hangman for months and they have zero direction outside that brief period where it look liked they were gonna split. So I can understand if Stu feels like he can do more on his own near his home, more power to him. I think Silver and Reynolds and 10 and Anna Jay benefitted from it, but you need to give DO a story or just keep the focus on the 4 they really plan on pushing and let them all do their thing. You can do a civil group breakup and have them come together when it's super important.

Man looked like he was getting the push of a lifetime after he started questioning Jericho in the IC and then beat him. Just to go nowhere and start a different feud with Jericho.
The stop start career of PnP has hurt them more than anything

A shame that two friends are having a falling out. Hope this gets resolved in time.

Yeah at this point it's less about PNP's booking to me and more that it seems that Santana wants to go singles and wants to try and force his way into it whether in AEW or out of it.
I wonder if his whole champions presentation in Terminus imploding because their second show was so bad and the finish to his match with Gresham there got absolutely f***ed pissed him off more than we realize, because that was one of the first times we saw Santana attempted as a major singles star in a company and it... didn't go well, and it wasn't his fault.
Hope this stuff can be rectified and it doesn't get worse with him, I like Santana and Ortiz, I really like them as a team and think they deserve a title run, but if that's not what Santana wants anymore that's gonna be interesting...
That being said, I hope it isn't true either, the clock is weird, but you hope it's not what's being reported because it's suck if true

Man I really hope this some dirt sheet bs (though the countdown clock does lend some credence). The TIJ episode with Santana & Ortiz really went into how they have always had each other’s back and the process of choosing AEW over NXT. Santana can be a singles star, even in AEW, but can’t rock the boat too much too soon.

If this is true, it's really sad that Santana and Ortiz are on different pages like this. If they're both upset at booking and want to go singles, that's fine. But if it is just Santana and Ortiz is happy to continue as a team, then it's a really sad situation. Part of the reason why I've warmed so much to FTR recently is because of ride or die they are for each other and as a team.

"Santana is unhappy because he wants a singles push" and "Santana is unhappy because he's in a dead-end tag team that isn't pushed" aren't exactly mutually exclusive, you know. He's talented enough that he ought to be doing something other than rotting away aimlessly, whether it's with Ortiz or on his own.

Maybe he does want to do something more, they definitely deserve to. I think they arent pushed with as much focus as FTR and ReDragon and IMO they deserve more than then. FTR ad ReDragon got to be pushed past as MJF/Cole lackeys. Just now PnP got to break from it.But they were always doing something.

You know, I kind of felt the DO were almost bulletproof from releases/departures because of the Brodie connection but also the connection to Brodie Jr. That group almost has to be kept around in some form or fashion - whether used onscreen or in other areas - because the optics would be terrible if Tony once day pulls a Nick Khan and does a deep roster purge and includes the DO in that. From a business standpoint, he's painted himself into a corner with this stable unless he restructures deals.

I get his frustration if he wants to go singles and Ortiz/AEW values their act too heavily to break them up. And he has a right to feel frustrated with his run if that's how he sees it. But from a fan's perspective, they've been one of the most featured acts since AEW began in terms of TV time and meaningful storylines. Have they always been pushed in terms of wins and losses? No, but when you list out all the things they've done - it's quite a lot. And they've had some big wins along the way. If I was giving him advice, I'd say work to get as much money out of TK as possible but I'm not sure going anywhere else will be worth it both in terms of money/push. I don't think WWE will either see him as that guy or pay him enough. Especially just him by himself. He could try Impact and probably get an initial push but they don't seem to be paying a ton right now and there's been a decent amount of roster churn. AEW just seems like a good fit. And with ROH potentially existing as a second brand, he'd have room to work there too.

What a shame, I thought Kayla had potential but seems that she is focused more on bodybuilding/modeling based on what she posts on twitter.

Still with all the rrespect and I`m happy for JR that he gets to do what he loves all his life. But AEW really doesnt need him full time.

Honestly at least right now I mostly ignore him, his voice kinda became white noite unless he says something really stupid. Its all about Tony and Excalibur Or in a perfect world Taz and Excalibur, but I digress.
