I have no problem with Jim Ross resigning with the company, but I really wish he would not be on commentary. At least move him to Rampage; less is more with Ross. He seems to be indifferent (at best) to the product most of the time. If he could move to a consultant type role it would fit him well. He's fully capable of not only pointing out some of the more non-sensical things AEW does, but offer logical, viable alternatives to those issues. I wish they would bring in Mauro Renalo for commentary. He just seems like such a perfect fit for the AEW product. The commentary teams would look like this: Dynamite - Mauro Renalo and Excalibur Rampage - Jim Ross, Taz, and whoever else wants to sit in, like Ricky Starks (Please no more Jericho!) Dark - Excalibur and Taz are perfect together Dark: Elevation - who cares? lol.. I know AEW is trying to get their money out of Paul White and Mark Henry, but they are possibly the worst duo in commentary history Move Tony Schiavonne to full time interview person. We need a modern day Mean Gene. He does most of them anyways, and he's good at it. He adds very little to being a third man on a commentary team. Don't take away Tony! I need him making veiled threats to shank MJF and Cole damnit. Love having a face commentator unafraid to speak out against certain heels.

They take the mic and cut a promo while he stands there (even faces) or get interrupted and start a promo battle while he stands there or he interviews people backstage and asks like one follow up question

Jade telling Tony to cut the shit as he looks confused is one of my favorite running gags on AEW.

Wait, some of you want me to watch MJF/Wardlow next Sunday without Tony Schiavone giddy about Max’s death and planning his funeral?
I object to this slander!

I am uniquely qualified to do nothing of value and will definitely work cheap.

The first genuine rage I had at a heel in a decade plus was Jericho pushing Schiavone in early AEW I think he should be all three commentators simultaneously somehow

The most frustrating thing for me in regards to JR is that when he is on he is ON and he adds so much to the product. However, it does seem to be having less and less on days, and a lot more grumpy/angry days.
My wish would be for Dynamite to be split in its commentary like RAW used to be back in the 90’s. Heck, if they did that they could use both voices from the 90’s if they are still trying to catch that channel hopping fan (I still refuse to believe they exist but apparently they do). They could have Excalibur for the full show, JR and Taz for the first hour, and then Tony and someone like Ian Riccaboni, Colt Cabana, maybe a rotating roster if they already have their stuff done like Punk, Starks, even Anthony Ogogo maybe.

Have JR do ppv and special event commentary. He's still great at making the big matches feel really special. And he's most "on" for those shows.
Regular Dynamites? I'd go with Tony, Excalibur, and Taz.

That explains why Reynolds jobbed out in his last 2 matches, Angels leaving is weird because he won in his final match...
That could also explain Anna Jay wearing her old ring attire at Double or Nothing. Also, notice that Dark Order just dropped out of the rankings not too long ago, despite being on a winning streak. And Uno, Ten and Silver have really been the only ones featured on TV lately. Kind of sad if the Dark Order just fades away as their contracts run out. Although, didn't Reynolds and Silver sign their full-time deals at the same time? I wonder if they couldn't come to an agreement with Reynolds?

Alvarez confirmed Alan Angels contract expired. Dark Order are in a very weird spot, like they're Brodie's stable and Brodie Jr.'s, which should give them a status of some sort for life, but now Stu's gone, Alan's contract ran out, and they don't seem to want to use Cabana outside of ROH. And the rumors of Anna Jay being slowly phased out of the group as well. The group's still used, and still connected to Hangman, but I feel like if something doesn't change for them like The potential Wyatt 6 thing and then new blood to it, it's not gonna get better for them as a whole.

It seriously saddens me to see how far Dark Order has fallen. They were the hottest thing at one point and now they're fading away with a whimper.
I'm just glad I got to see them live....even if it was an Elevation match...

I think it's pretty well past time to just put a fork in the Dark Order. Some of the guys in it could probably catch some momentum doing something else but this stable's a creative dead-end that's never been anything but a joke.

Their time with Brodie wasn't a joke, in fact it was really damn well executed, unfortunately, Brodie passed, and I think the path of them as faces just reached a ceiling, especially with the big talent influx of the next year Unless they do get someone like Wyatt and either go heel or Wyatt kicks out members who can join like Hangman against them, say Silver and Reynolds, and brings people in to reform his own legacy, that could be something. They have a Rochester Show next week, I'm gonna say if they're gonna do something with what remains of Dark Order, that's gonna be the time.

Their time with Brodie wasn't a joke, in fact it was really damn well executed. I mean the immediate aftermath of him winning the TNT title was them getting their asses kicked repeatedly then losing to a guy who wasn't under contract and didn't stick around afterward. They've always been pathetic.

They've always been pathetic. I don't even know who you're talking about in this situation. Cody? Because it's weird to connect him to that when he didn't leave AEW until months later. I might just be blacking out on this, because Brodie's TNT run was fine, just ended when Cody came back in the Dog Collar Match We literally have no idea what was going to happen next, the Hangman feud was hinted at, but Dark Order's trajectory as a whole was definitely hindered when Brodie passed. They got a few moments and celebrated with Hangman when he won the belt, but it does seem like as a group, it might be time for a new direction, new blood, and a new leader, or as you said they might just fizzle entirely. But the thought of them fizzling entirely seems weird, so I guess we'll see if Rochester's Show does anything with them or we get a surprise.
