Kind of makes sense why Izzy seems to be moving away from WWE/NXT. At least that's what it feels like on Twitter. I never know about her parents. It always seemed like they were good people on Twitter.

Like between this, the many stories from Full Sail regulars of her parents being obnoxious, the fact she was training under Chasyn Rance for a time, and that former member from here who went on to be a supercreep to Izzy on twitter, they should've just let this kid be a kid. Isn't she going to be on the relaunch of Women of Wrestling that Tessa Blanchard is heavily involved in, too?
Izzy's parents sound like real dirtbags.
I’ve no issue with Izzy but I think as a rule 13 year old kids shouldn’t he taking a choke slam in a wresting ring because at 13 they are still developing their bone structure. I remember when I went to secondary school at 13 and there was a small weights room next to the sports hall and there was a sign in bold letters than said the equipment was for people over a certain age. I mean surely safety is no 1 here. I think Toni was 13 when she started out, and she's said that she regrets starting so young.
It depends a lot on the wrestling culture and training. Like a lot of joshi start out young (Riho started when she was nine), but it's not like they're taking big bumps or anything. The adults they work with also tend to take it real easy on them. Like I doubt they're doing any chokeslam spots that young anyway. It's a lot more structured and controlled than the shindys over here who'd put the likes of Izzy in that spot without much of any care for her safety.

I miss the days when it’d be booed because someone was either a bigger fan of Joel or a bigger fan of Mike.

MSK are pretty lame anyway but this is a terrible reason to boo someone. I really hope Izzy & her parents aren’t as lame as this.

What a heel MSK is. They certainly sound like they are believing their own hype. Also, am I confusing her with someone else or did Izzy have to wear some kind of back brace for a time ? And let's be real here; the problem was never suggesting a child shouldn't take a chokeslam. It's suggesting their child, who they have clung to for some malformed moment of fame and clout from the wrestling community at large, shouldn't take a chokeslam. That's worth being petty like this and trying to f*** with these guys career-wise over.

I remember thinking when Izzy was onscreen all the time that this was sweet but had potential to go real bad and then I click a thread about some guy I have never heard of getting booed and find out she was getting hug-pimped by her parents

Honestly, the adults around Izzy (especially her parents) seem like absolute weirdos, point blank. Ban em if they feel that entitled to showing their full ass

Yeah like... for all the infamy that Omega vs 9 year old girl match got, she didn't really take a bump in the actual match except selling a kick. Most of it was Kenny bumping like a tall guy against a cruiserweight, and taking too much time to finish the match because he forgot about the time limit.

That has to be one of the most pathetic things I've ever heard.
Spend how much money & how much of your time, all because one guy criticised your daughter's chokeslam spot on Twitter?
Do these people not have lives to lead?

Same when Minoru Suzuki wrestled someone that young: he just sold for her mostly.

They should be booed for having a stupid meaningless letter based name. At least they're a team though, there's singles wrestlers out there doing the same, like vsk.
On the Japanese child wrestlers thing I was watching Ram Kaicho recently, she's 22 iirc, commentary said she was a 15 year vet. Thought it was a joke or part of her gimmick, nope she had her first match at 6 years old.

Funny enough when it comes to Ram, the words child and chokeslam are no stranger youtu.be/kCjJ2bNnCAo (Ignore the title of the video and the music, it's just the best I could find of child Ram and a lot of chokeslams)

The WWE saw her as a marketing tool for Bayley and then her parents likely came to the realization...we got a little cash machine on our hands. Just like those toddler shows where parents make their children into unspeakable horror stories because they can't live without even the smallest bit of fame. I remember when Bayley won the NXT title and someone (maybe on reddit) made a post about Izzy's live reaction to it, and I thought it was weird since the Takeover was in New York so what are the chances that she had traveled all the way there and been on camera? Turned out that her parents filmed her watching it on TV and posted the video online.

Nasty.
That NXT crowd used to be so good back in the day too. They're terrible now.

What a bunch of weirdos.
That's the problem with filming in front of the same group of fans every week. If they get butthurt about something you're screwed. Does anyone else recall something like this happening with Lance Archer and the Impact Zone crowd back in the day? I forget the specifics but for a while he was a cult favorite and they would chant "Hoyt Hoyt Hoyt!" all through his matches but then there was some minor incident and they completely turned on him. It may have been something like he overshot a suicide dive and hit the guard-rail and made the front row regulars spill their drink or something. Don't quote me exactly on that but it was definitely something as equally insignificant. The regulars though got super weird about it and from that day on either booed or ignored him. He went from a popular up and coming babyface to jobber in no time. I don't think it's a stretch to say those TNA regulars negatively impacted his career. It sounds like this Full Sail crew are trying to do the same to MSK. Maybe Florida fans are just the worst.
