I could see Harry getting a few months, team him back up with Archer and give them a run for a big tag titles match. Killer Elite Squad vs Lucha Bros would be a belter Harry would also be a no brainer for the upcoming Owen Hart memorial tournament if he isn't doing anything else of note at the time. Good point. Didn't think of that actually.

I had the idea of the Owen Hart tournament not featuring any signed AEW talent and just a diverse cast of free agents ala the Cruiserweight Classic so Harry Smith would be perfect for that. If you want Kevin Steen involved then, like, have him be the only AEW signee in the tournament but not make it official until afterwards or something.

I had not considered that. Also, if he does pop in, at least he already apologized to Jake Roberts, who accepted his apology, so that's one bit of awkwardness that wouldn't be a problem.

Ember Moon has always just seemed like Naomi if she was a "darker" type character. You can just do that with Naomi if that's what you want on your wrestling show. I fail to see the similarities between Ember and Naomi besides being black… The colored hair, the similar body type, and the wrestling style being sort of "athletic exhibitions" showcasing that they aren't necessarily great storytellers but are very athletic.

Man I have no interest in seeing Harry Smith in AEW. He might be the dullest wrestler I have ever seen. Plus he just seems like a dumbass.
Ember and Keith should absolutely be signed. They are too good. The women's division could use more talent too.
I could see Tony signing Kross but god I hope not. He is legitimately an idiot and brings absolutely nothing to the table

I hope he signs Lince Dorado, solely to book him in a feud with Eddie Kingston involving Dorado getting massacred Okay, but what if (and hear me out here) Lince Dorado absolutely slaughters Dan the Dad first (after tweaking Dan's gimmick to be more, como se dice, overly ambitious stage dad)?

I think Keith Lee ,Mia Yim are top choices. I honestly dont see much on Ember Moon. Ember’s run a wrestling school before, so she brings a lot of backstage value as well as an on-screen talent They have plenty of trainers already too , doesnt make her a must get

People I think have the highest chance of showing up in AEW: - Keith Lee - Mia Yim - Ember Moon - Biff Busick - Mascara Dorada Outside chance: - Kross - Scarlett - Taya Valkryie - AQA - Lince Dorado - Blake Christian Don't see it happening/Never know: - Nia Jax - Jeet Rama - Harry Smith - Eva Marie - Katrina Cortez - B-Fab Only reason I list ones as "don't see happening" is I just don't see a spot for them at the moment. Maybe outside of some AEW DARK appearances for the likes of a Cortez or Rama. I'd move B-Fab to outisde chance. She's green but she has a great natural charisma, If you can iron out the ring work she could do very well.

If Kross gets hired, he becomes the new bar. "They passed on (X) but they hired Kross?" posts for years. Dude would not work out in an AEW environment Kross and Scarlett are going nowhere near AEW as long as Don Callis is there in any capacity.

Well,Callis is just another employee,he doesnt hold any position of power. And I also dont think professionally,Impact would want to deal with Kross again. But I also hope AEW doesnt hire Kross, not sure where he would go.

Oh god, he's gonna hire Kross isn't he? Tony Khan: "Nobody want that piece of shit brother."

Ember is a much different and much better wrestler than Naomi

Tony Khan has mentioned he finds time to watch main roster WWE. Given some of the decent talent he's turned away, I doubt he brings in Kross or Nia with some of the performances they turned in recently. I mean I thought Braun offered a ton more than both of them at this stage and he didn't go after him.

Don Callis doesn't work for AEW. He works for Impact. And right now, while AEW and Impact's relationship is still cordial, they also aren't actively collaborating right now. The Good Brothers and Callis haven't been on AEW programming since Bound For Glory even when it made sense.
Kross and Scarlett's likely attitudes towards getting vaccinated for COVID-19 is more of a barrier to them going to AEW than Callis. Especially since AEW is touring in arenas and cities that have mandates.

I think the only one I'd really say is a must is Keith Lee, though Mia Yim and Ember Moon I could also certainly see getting picked up. I could maybe see them picking up Kross but I think it'd be a terrible idea and he wouldn't be welcomed by the crowd.
Also I don't think I would ever think to compare Ember and Naomi on, like, any level. They don't even have the same strengths, Ember's the far better wrestler while Naomi actually has a personality.

He's with AEW full-time now as an on-screen character and backstage consultant. I'm not sure why he hasn't been on TV the past few weeks but Meltzer said he'll be back imminently, presumably for Full Gear seeing as he's on the match graphic for the main event.

So yeah, probably not going to see Kross in AEW anytime soon even if vaccine status wasn't an issue.

When word broke that Callis was stepping down as EVP at Impact, it was also said the plan was him to move to AEW full time after the Kenny/Impact angle wrapped up. And he had apparently informed Anthem he was leaving before he started with AEW, so this has been the endgame for a while now I guess.
