Just curious of your thoughts....
With them stating that Joe Gacy eclipses the 205 weight limit and his whole schtick being that the CW title isn't inclusive... anyone see them having him beat Roderick Strong and then getting rid of the CW title?

They should just make it NXT 2.0's TV Title.

Needed to open that loophole to get the title over to Odyssey. That Joe Gacy… what a thoughtful and inclusive human.

They should retire the Cruiserweight, 24/7, and WWE Women's Tag Team Championships.

I hope so. I can't stand weight limit titles. They worked back in the Monday Night Wars, but with so many big men out there doing high spots like the cruiserweights now, there's definitely no need for those kinds of titles anymore.

I've posted about this before, but the fact they still have a show called 205 Live, where it's no longer strictly cruiserweights, irks me.
I'm all for that show changing to reflect it's basically just the 3rd hour of NXT.
Also, with Vince's new developmental plans, he doesn't seem too interested in smaller folks, so dropping the Cruiserweight title wouldn't be surprising.

_If_ they had ever wanted titles to have meaning, the Cruiserweight title would have been a great way to showcase those talents that a) brought a great deal of value to WWE but b) were thought too small to be credible I-C/US/World/Universal champions. The tournament would have been a perfect introduction to a lot of the 205 Live crew (if if was their plan for a 205 Live show) but the first champion might have been someone who'd been on the main roster for a while but whom Vince really didn't want clogging up the main event.

It also doesn't need to be when you have guys like Bryan, Balor, Punk, and Kofi being top of card top title guys. A specialized rules division sure but locking people into a division based on weight just doesn't work anymore.

A Cruiserweight Title can work, you just have to, much like all things, book it correctly. Yes, wrestlers are smaller but there's still a place for a CW/Jr. Heavyweight Division.

Well, it would still be a more dignified ending than how the last Cruiserweight title ended.

WWE has a CW Title? That channel hasn’t aired any of the company’s programs since 2013.
Oh, wrong CW. My bad.

Weight divisions in wrestling have always been a stupid idea, especially nowadays.

Well, it would still be a more dignified ending than how the last Cruiserweight title ended. Casually dropped with no mention of it ever again.

They should retire the Cruiserweight, 24/7, and WWE Women's Tag Team Championships. Honestly, the women's tag belts being retired would only make the problems with the women's division worse. Like, we'd just get the same matches we are already but with even less for anyone who isn't the Four Horsewomen, Asuka, or Bianca to do.

Joe Gacy is a terrible gimmick.
I get what they're going for but it just doesn't translate well to wrestling.
He would be better if he was an evil psychiatrist and manipulated guys like Harland to do his dirty work or something.
