What are some tv shows where every season had different opening credits (visually and/or musically)? I'm pretty sure all of the Transformers cartoons that were multi-season, save for TF: Animated, did this. For a live-action example, The Cosby Show (yeah yeah, I know).

It's pretty standard in anime, where you're actually expected to change up the OP every time the show comes back.

American Horror Story's an obvious one but given it's an anthology series of sorts that may not count.
I feel like Buffy's opening credits always had a few tweaks to it but maybe not in season 1/2.

Beverley hills 90210 the original had a different opening at the start of the first season where they show Minnesota(?) and letters being delivered and then it changes to the one most people know.

Clips from the previous 12 episodes plus a slightly different water fountain segment (I swear Schwimmer falls into the fountain in one of them)

A recent/one of the best (IMO) examples:
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.
Not only a different opening, but a different theme song every season.
And all of them extremely catchy. I was prepared to miss the previous, but I got into all of them.

The Wire did this with the music for most of the seasons and definitely the visuals in the title theme.

Not quite by season, but Doctor Who has had so many different takes on the vortex opening and theme tune over the years, usually divided by Doctor.

Found it. I’ve no recollection of that. I remember him sticking his head up above the fountain but obviously it happened I just had no memory of it.

The Drew Carey Show had at least four different sets of credits in their nine year run.
B Positive changed their credits between season one and two. Same song but done in a totally different style. Don’t know if the trend will continue (or if the show will make it to season 3).

It may be sort of cheating since techically it did not have "opening credits" but Arrow every season would change the arrow head at the beginning of the show to reflect the tone , theme and Olivers overall journey.

I think Bojack Horseman and Rick and Morty do the same thing. They have some reoccurring scenes that appear in all the openings mixed with stuff from the current season.

The NBC cop show Hunter pretty much had a different theme for the 8 seasons it was on the air.
Also, Starsky and Hutch had a different theme for each of it's four seasons.
