Smackdown was OK. No match stood out above the rest, but at least they started the build for Day 1. Awesome opening segment with Brock Lesnar & Sami Zayn. I didn’t know that Brock Lesnar had a personality like that. Cool, Zayn VS Roman Reigns is official for tonight. Sasha Banks VS Shayna Baszler was a great match, much better than their last match on Raw on August 3, 2020 which ended in a No Contest. I love that they showed Baszler destroying Nia Jax & Eva Marie who are no longer in the company. OK segment with Sonya Deville & Adam Pearce, who’s afraid of Lesnar, so he’s not here. Thank you, Jeff Hardy & Drew McIntyre, for ending that crap with Happy Corbin & Madcap Moss but they had to ruin it by putting on the stupid hats. Awesome, Xia Li makes her Smackdown debut next week, finally. The Viking Raiders VS Los Lotharios was stupid. That had to be the worst distraction finish ever, with the team that was supposed to get distracted winning the match. King Woods VS Jey Uso should have been a much longer match. I was looking forward to it since it was announced. At least, they’re not going to do Woods & Kofi Kingston VS The Usos now. Save it for Day 1. Good promo by Roman Reigns. OK Aliyah with The New Day. Good promo by The New Day. Awesome, it's official The New Day VS The Usos at Day 1. Good, I need facts to type for my Preview instead of just saying the 1st of everything. OK Charlotte Flair promo, but it was ruined by Toni Storm coming out and throwing a pie into Flair’s face. They shouldn’t be feuding over pie. Nice video package on Ricochet. Cesaro VS Sheamus was just getting good when it ended. They need to have a much longer match down the line. Very disappointing. What a slap in the face to Naomi by Sonya Deville. At least, they’re finally going to wrestle next week. Hilarious promo by Sami Zayn & I loved what Brock Lesnar did to him before his match with Roman Reigns. I’m glad that they gave Sami Zayn the win in the Battle Royal, so they wouldn’t waste someone like Drew McIntyre or Jeff Hardy in a squash match against Roman Reigns. No Championship Match should be shorter than the Champion’s Entrance. 205 Live was pretty much a showcase for The Diamond Mine with Ivy Nile’s match against Erica Yan & The Creed Brothers’ match with Jacket Time. The 3rd match between Draco Anthony & Boa was a good showcase for both, but I thought that Anthony would win since they showed his video package from NXT again.

The funniest part of the show was Cole going on and on about how ABSOLUTELY PISSED Roman must be at Brock for taking out Sami..and then Roman couldn't be happier to win in 10 seconds.
