I think Demolition holds up better than The Road Warriors in the WWF. However, Road Warriors in AWA/JCP and Japan will forever hold up with me. Though as great as the Demos are, and they might have been better workers, NOTHING matches the pure badassery of prime Road Warriors. I always thought of them as the Stone Cold of tag teams, in terms of being pretty much heels that people refused to boo. They even tried taking Dusty Rhode’s eye out and turned on Sting and still no one wanted to boo them. It's crazy how quickly they gave up on getting them hated as heels. I think they turned in October 88 and they were back to being faces in January 89 with them fighting heel teams like the Varsity Club. It's like they knew immediately it wasn't going to work so they just pulled the plug pretty much immediately.

Eh, I love Demolition as much as the next guy (when Sky Sports were showing Wrestling Challenge pre-Get the F Out, they were my favourite tag team to watch) but the Road Warriors are the Road Warriors. Even if some of their later stuff doesn't hold the same weight as the early stuff, their influence is still felt today.
And their influence was so much, the WWF made Demolition and it's hard to ignore that.
