Saint Peter's coach got those dudes trained. They pull off a gigantic upset in OT and he's got them lined up for the handshake line with almost no celebration. You can tell he's a discipline guy.

Colorado State, you really piss me off. One game in and dead bracket.

Have to admit, I’m conflicted on the Kentucky loss. On one hand, I just lost one of my final four teams. On the other hand, the team that just beat them is from a city I spent a whole lot of time in growing up when I was a kid.

Idk why but I suddenly have an urge to watch some fine NBC programming and/or some WWE wrestling on that one app.

What stopped me from doing that is that I would have had no number 1 seeds, and every team would be SEC. I've got Arkansas, Baylor, Tennessee, and Auburn, with Tennessee beating Baylor for the championship.

I know, I was saying that one of the reasons I went against Kentucky is that if I picked them, my entire FF would be from one conference.

Akron had the game, but 2 horrible final possessions by them allow UCLA to win.

Narratror: As the first day of the NCAA tournament draws to a bitter close, a whole lot of brackets were destroyed in a wave of upsets, 2 #12 seeded teams prevailed proving we are in for what may be a unpredictable tournament on the way to the national championship game. The Friday games will have to step up, Ohio State, Duke, Villanova and Arizona will have to succeed where Kentucky and Iowa have failed but will they suffer the same fate as Kentucky and Iowa? To find out who wins Friday's 1st round games stay tuned to the NEXT EXCITING EPISODE OF THE NCAA TOURNAMENT Z

Biggest upsets of day one go to Richmond and St. Peters I'd think, an honorable mention to New Mexico State
Biggest upset letdowns go to Akron and Vermont, who had a lot of ability to win the game and just choked at the end
Biggest Day One frauds are Kentucky, Iowa, and Uconn for getting upset, but also Marquette and Indiana for just getting absolutely destroyed and considered decent teams even with who they were playing against, just absolute goose eggs by them, wasn't even close.
Game of Day One was Murray State and San Fransisco imo. That shit was awesome, and Murray State fought through a lot to get it, runner up Creighton's comeback over San Diego St
The Mountain West Conference had all four of their representative teams compete tonight, and all four lost. Bit of a yikes...
Both Saint teams won on St. Patrick's Day, St. Peters and St. Mary's!

The Undercard games of the 2nd day of the first round are so far pedestrian as all winners are seeded 2-10 (though that 10 seed won against a #7 seed)
