I'd rather Adam Page jump over, but the fact is, someone's going to and I doubt they end up regretting it because assuming Vince is still running things by then, and a lot can change in two years, he's going to want to try to lure more by pushing the first AEW guy to jump ship to the f***ing moon. And if things DO change in regards to booking and who's doing it, it may get more attractive.

I feel like at some point MjF should go there. Maybe not 2024, but the next round of negotiations after Can I ask why? There's still a TON for him to do in AEW, and WWE isn't interested in pushing any full timers not named Roman Reigns. I mean at this point it would be like 2027 and I’m sure he’d be a couple world titles in and it would be interesting for him to transition to a new company. And who knows what the landscape of wwe will be like by then. Vince will be 82 if he is still alive and I feel like even if he is, his role will be much less or the company might be sold all together

I saw it summarised best elsewhere… WWE would be as mad to not be interested in signing him as MJF would be TO be interested in signing with them.

The only way WWE should be a long term goal for MJF is if the company's structure, creative, and overall approach to wrestling is overhauled. Because as is, there's little doubt that he's heard the horror stories from the likes of Ambrose, Jericho, and others about how miserable the experience current WWE is and would be smart to avoid it.
Even money wise, the constant cuts the company's done in the last three years have made a big salary much less guaranteed.

Depends what happens in the next few years.
If WWE stays the brand leader, then lots of people are still going to go to them eventually, because they will pay more and your name might get out more - if you care about that sort of thing. Some may care more about other things staying outside WWE will give you.
And, even then, if WWE f*** you over and you 'fail' there, you can go back where you came from and it wont really hurt you all that much unless they really, really spike your career some how.
And even then people will likely blame the company over you and welcome you back.
However, if WWE keep crashing, and AEW can regain momentum and start growing their numbers again, then people might not need to take a step to the mainstream via WWE cos AEW might be there themselves.

They'd probably saddle him with a Jewish stereotype gimmick and call him Scotty Horowitz or something. I still can't believe they did that to Colt Cabana.

If Vince is still in charge, he's not going to want to push someone else's guy. He'll find a way to ruin MJF instead.

In fact, whoever it was in WWE that even uttered MJF's name should have to go make a new home on the moon!

I love that WWE is interested in a guy that was on their payroll at one point all because AEW made him look like a star.
A star they HAD. Now granted he didn't do shit, but he was there under their umbrella.
I love the irony.

I think alot of people here are ignored what happen to alot of former WCW stars when they join after WCW close down so they can avoid criticizing WWE.

He’ll automatically have 2 things against him: 1) he wasn’t Vince’s creation and got over without him, and 2) he gives the exact kind of promos WWE would freak out about when they try to tiptoe around their sponsors.
If he goes to WWE, we’ll see an extremely watered-down, scripted version of him, he’ll be jobbed out, leave before too long, and it will be burned bridges and a bad experience for him and the fans.
EC3 is a perfect cautionary tale.

Maxwell Mizdow... Nah. He's better off where he is. Of course, as others have said, it'll be great leverage for when his contract is up.

When I first saw this thread, I thought it said WWE was interested in a MILF and was confused yet intrigued.

When I first saw this thread, I thought it said WWE was interested in a MILF and was confused yet intrigued. They had Mickie James pitching that to them every other week and they never picked up on it, so they’re clearly not.

MJF in WWE would most likely stand for Milquetoast Jacob Freeman.

I'm struggling to not be negative here, because wrestling really is best when there's 2 companies dog-fighting and putting out their best creatively, but why a top guy sign with WWE right now?
Yeah, money talks, but you're only getting what WWE pays you. Besides that, unless you can negotiate an iron-clad no-cut clause with a downside that matches what you make in AEW, I'd stay right where I am.
