Matt is very over. Regardless of whether Jeff comes in or not, he might be due for a face turn in the next year.

Matt is very over. Regardless of whether Jeff comes in or not, he might be due for a face turn in the next year. He's dropped the HFO gimmick on Twitter it sounds like. Sounds like the gimmick could be phased out soon or there could be a breakup coming. Might be waiting for Quen to come back

That was the most decisive win Dark Order have had in awhile. HFO got run the f*** over.

Thats why Dark Order are so dangerous. Yeah you can beat team iterations but if you face a team combo like Uno, Grayson, and 10? That's a dangerous combo

This feud has been going on since February Given how unanimous that win was, that might be the end

Always knew Kaun wouldn’t get much in, but that was basically a squash. My hopes for the guys from Shane Taylor Promotions coming in took a hit there. I'd say that was downright generous for an Elevation match, with Kaun getting spots with actual build and a few good hits. But like...that it's "generous for an Elevation" match speaks to how Elevation is often blatantly pressed for time, and how the most fun part of the show (getting to see local wrestlers and possible tryouts) is made much less interesting by the time constraints. I've been thinking lately that it's a shame that Elevation is the format in which AEW has new wrestlers show up most often, because it's not like anybody is going to really impress much with the show's structure.

I've been thinking lately that it's a shame that Elevation is the format in which AEW has new wrestlers show up most often, because it's not like anybody is going to really impress much with the show's structure. It's odd. I thought Elevation would follow DARK's old format more of like... three matches featuring name talent and maybe a promo and segment here and there to fill time, but Tony has tried to keep the structure very similar to Daily's Place shows with only an hour of time to do so. While Universal DARK has much more time, and gives us more competitive matches and bulk in its new format. Live DARKs also get the benefit of being two hours before a live Rampage, with only one hour before Dynamite and Rampage taking the after Dynamite slot Elevation used to have, Elevation is confined to having like five squash matches and one normal paced one, and even the main event for this week felt like a rare smash spot of main roster talent in HFO Maybe they'll tweak it in the New Year, but Elevation is a place to showcase the lower-middle card talent usually, and I really miss the segments they used to do with Paul and the vignettes like with Leyla and Velvet... they added a lot to the show and to the stories of the people you're watching on TV. It'd be nice to see those again. DARK's found a really good groove of matches and promos to build on what's happening on the show, Elevation needs to find that too. I don't doubt that they can, it's if they want to mess with the formula right now
