Honestly, it's telling that given the sheer amount of crap that the National Lampoon brand got put on, that Cousin Eddie's Island Adventure feels like a lateral move in terms of quality.

What's crazy is it takes nine minutes, half the video, to just get to the Cousin Eddie movie. That's how much crap there is to talk about with National Lampoon.

I gotta say, other than Animal House and the Vacation movies….man that’s a steep drop in quality. Loaded Weapon 1 and maaaaaybe Van Wilder are okay. But the selection of beyond that…is f***ing dire.

Van Wilder is f***ing terrible. I was amused when I was like 22 or whatever when it came out, but I watched it a year or so ago...it's not funny. Fun fact, it's loosely based on Bert Kreischer, who is funny, so not sure what happened there. |

Just a head's up, but Todd in the Shadows put up his Top Ten Worst Songs for 2021 video today for his Patreon, it'll probably be up on YouTube in a day or two. It seems like that would be a good start for a Megathread for him. |

I'd like to see him do an Almost Cult Classics on Strange Brew. A retrospective on Police Academy would be fun too. Those would be good. I'd personally like to see him cover Kids in The Hall: Brain Candy or The Wrong Guy (Which coincidentally starred The Kids in the Hall's own Dave Foley.) |

I've been wanting to see Xmas Vacation II for a long ass time. Months back I found the DVD at a local pawn for a buck. Watched it and the next day did a video on it. A video I set to appear this upcoming Friday. Of course Hat's off scooped me. But anyways it was a great video. Plus I kept wondering where I saw Eddie's son before. |

Huge Sanford and Son fan. The last 10 years my grandpa was alive every 5 weeks I would drive down and spend a week looking after him. By then I had every season of S&S on dvd. So after dinner each night I would hook up a dvd player and from 7pm till midnight him and I watched S&S.

Wow, it's amazing the Stooges bit from Disorder in the Court is a direct rip from Buster's stuff. In this day and age, they would be called joke thieves or something. Personally, I love the stooges but wow, it's an exact copy.
