The same could be said about Max Payne in the third game. Rather than be modeled after Sam Lake or that one actor in the second game, Max was modeled after James McCaffrey himself. I also recall a lot of characters in LA Noire being modeled after their actors. I recognized Hal Landon Jr. when I saw him. I wonder if Bullock on American Dad was supposed to look like Patrick Stewart, who voiced the character. I remembered a Family Guy episode from sometime in the mid-2000s (I think 2005) that had one of those random pop culture reference clips that had a parody scene of Star Trek: The Next Generation. Family Guy's version of Picard looked just like Bullock on American Dad. I wonder if it was the same model.

James Doohan has orange skin and three arms? Is he known for anything else? His cameo in National Lampoons Loaded Weapon 1 maybe. Interesting story about the Star Trek cartoon. The producers initially planned to bring back Shatner, Nimoy, Kelly, Doohan, and Barrett-Roddenberry. No Takei, Koenig, or Nicholls. They planned for Doohan and Barrett to do their characters voices. Nimoy refused to come back unless the entire cast was rehired. Koenig was still left out for budget reasons but they let him write an episode.

Janina Gavankar as Iden Verso in Star Wars Battlefront II. Fallen Order also has at least several of the main characters that look like their voice actors. Seems to be happening a lot in video games these days. Giancarlo Esposito in the new FarCry game.

If you think about it, David Xanatos looked an awfully alot like Jonathan Frakes.

Inverted example. The Clerks cartoon designed Leonardo Leonardo to look like Alan Rickman in Die Hard as Rickman was slated to voice him. Rickman didnt like this so he declined and they got Alec Baldwin. In the same vein, George Clooney was supposed to be the voice of Jack Frost so they made the snowman look like him. When he couldn’t for whatever reason they got Michael Keaton but kept the snowman. They did change the snowman slightly to make it look a little more like Keaton but Clooney backed out late and so they couldn't completely redo the sculpt so it still definitely looks more like Clooney especially in they eyes.
