Scott Taylor probably left right before he was going to be cut anyway.

Press F for the Authority's crooked referee.

AEW should definitely nab Steel and Regal. Because NJPW will be looking for Regal.
Ryan Katz is another good get. GCW, MLW, or Impact could do a lot with him.

Scott Armstrong gone as well and SRS has confirmed WWE specifically told him none of todays cuts involve onscreen talent But as usual with WWE, who's to say they may be planning more cuts in the near future? Oh absolutely, there’s a very realistic chance there’s still talent cuts to come in the near future just that todays releases are all behind the scenes contributors.

I want to say that it seemed Joe was moving into that slot Regal had from the way he and Hunter were talking. Then again the way things are going he's probably gone again as well
And really other than Regal I'm not sure if say there is any real loss.

Yup. Wouldn't be shocked if this is due to the ratings cratering with the rebrand. Because we all know that Johnny and Bruce will escape accountability for this rebrand being a disaster. Bruce especially because he oversees the new NXT. And its been nothing short of an abject failure when it comes to ratings. Ironically according to Zarian USA is happy with the ratings Here's the thing, USA's ratings have tanked the last few years. They used to be able to turn out original shows like Monk, Psych, Burn Notice, and White Collar that got great ratings. Those days are long gone. WWE increases USA's ratings, which they need.

If he's interested AEW needs to 100% sign Regal. I feel like at this point AEW should just buy out the NXT name

Here's what I'll say - for what it's worth, NXT as a super-indie only worked until AEW came around. Once there was another option, people weren't immediately coming to NXT like they were back in 2014-2016.
That said, they're releasing some really big names/smart people and I have a hard time believing they couldn't find anything for Regal. If HHH was the one to suggest to Vince that they should go head to head with AEW, it might have been one of his biggest miscalculations, because he set himself up for failure.

I hope Road Dogg just f***s off, but it's funny picturing him trying to convince AEW to get rid of W-L records and the rankings system because wins and losses don't matter!!!

I mean, he ain't wrong. I think the biggest loser in all of this in the grand scheme of things is Triple H. Jobs can come and jobs can go, but now that dude is branded a failure forever. He was once thought of as the guy to take over the reigns but now it's clear Nick Khan's the man until they sell.

Does feel kind of especially f***-you that they do this the day after having Breakker smash the old NXT logo.

I mean...I'd say Vince gets some blame for letting him basically do that rather than figure out what they both wanted from developmental.

I do think once NXT moved to network television though expectations changed and scrutiny becomes much stronger

I'm really curious as to which camp Sara del Rey and Albert fall into. If Regal's not safe, then I can totally see them being at risk too.

Yeah count me in on the "AEW needs to bring Regal in" thing, way too invaluable as a leader and a talent scout. They'd be better off having him. A lot of people already there he knows too like Danielson.

With Regal gone no way HHH has any type of say in his “baby” anymore
