A shame Marko wasn't there to celebrate with them.

I love how what everyone expected to happen (Christian turning heel) didn’t happen, but everyone still expects it to happen.
With that said, I’m elated to see that Jurassic Express is sitting atop the tag team mountain as I feel like it’s slightly overdue, and I hope they get a lengthy run with the titles.
The tag division is a bit strange in AEW right now, if only because I’m not sure whose next in line for a shot at the championships, but I think Sting and Darby Allin have to be considered.
And to be honest, that’s a match that I didn’t know that I needed.

I hate to say thankfully it was just the arm but if it was a leg he would possibly be done forever. AEW is great to watch as is a car crash but they seriously have so many close calls being able to do basically whatever they want. I am always worried someone is going to get injured going too big.

I do really like that the narrative has been just like "Christian helps Jurassic Express level up to be champions" rather than him betraying them at the first possible moment, which has been called since like Jungle Boy's title match in I wanna say June or July? There really hasn't been any dissension in story for the team as of now, maybe outside of that one time Jungle Boy looked slightly perturbed that Luchasaurus was celebrating with Christian. Plus you can't break up a group so soon after they put out that Christmas shirt.

AEW is great to watch as is a car crash but they seriously have so many close calls being able to do basically whatever they want. I am always worried someone is going to get injured going too big. It's so weird though like... that spot was so simple, like run of the mill even, chokeslam through a table? it's one of the most harmless spots Fenix has actually done in the company, there's almost no risk to a guy leading you into a table like Luchasaurus did. Fenix's arms just spread out and unfortunately his arm got caught. This stuff happens, it literally just happened to Sasha at a House show where her leg got caught on a simple spot. Wrestling is a very precise sport where simple spots can lead to heartbreak, it's actually crazy how usually it's just real simple spots where injuries happen a lot of the time, and the more convoluted ones tend to just go off without a hitch. I do agree they need to be more careful, it's just I don't really think the spot itself here was to blame, it just happened and it was an accident as it was.
