Wasn't aware a music video was shot for this. It appears to have been shot the same day as the initial Monday Nitro launch press conference at the Hard Rock Cafe.

The backstory to Hulkster in Heaven makes it the most darkly amusing to me. Hogan claiming he based an entire tribute song to a supposed UK fan that he'd invited to Wembley Stadium, only to see that they weren't there because he had died before the event would be a real tearjerker... if not for the fact that Hogan didn't wrestle at Wembley until he got to WCW and in fact the Summerslam in 1992 at that arena was the first WWF PPV to not feature him.

These are definitely the big takeaways here, aside from Linda Hogan not really singing. I did not realize North Korea was so into Hulkamania. And 2:08 is a quiet low point in the career of Randy Savage. |

Linda's appearance reminds me of when Jeanine joins the band in This Is Spinal Tap.
I have visions of Hogan having to do multiple takes of things while Jimmy Hart complains "You can't concentrate because of your f***ing wife!"

As much as I dislike Hulk, I think the 1995 Boot Band album is pretty good. American Made, while certainly no Real American is very close to being as great. Hulk's The One has really cool music and while probably cheesy now, was normal for the time. Linda wasn't too bad either, if she really did sing. And the Dave Sullivan theme had a great message ("positive thoughts and positive deeds, these are the thing that make us succeed"). The Bad To the Bone music was used for the Brian Pillman late 1995 return and that was also cool. I think if Hulk had done the album at the height of his WWF fame it be looked at more fondly.

Wasnt the album marketed as a Children's album? It hit 12 on Billboard's list of top Kid albums. |

I got the cassette when it first came out, I think from a music store but I don't remember what section it was in-my grandfather probably just asked an employee to find it because I can never find anything in a store. |
