They did let Viacom own CBS and UPN in the later years of UPN, fwiw.
Not to mention that Fox ended up owning a slew of high-profile UPN affiliates.

Time for another kickstarter project for FAN! Think if we had our own TV network!

First thing I do is revamp Riverdale by getting rid of Archie and Jughead and renaming the series as "The Madelaine Petsch, Camilla Mendes and Lilli Reinhardt Pillow Fight Hour"

Wait, if I buy the CW does that mean I get Madelaine Petsch as part of the deal? Because I've got, umm... $42 burning a hole in my pocket and a school project due soon!

So long Arrowverse.
Hello live-action Kim Possible teen drama.
Maybe a Gargoyles reboot expect instead of being stone monsters they're regular humans with crappy CGI retractable wings.

Hello live-action Kim Possible teen drama. And to think, we had a live-action KP event just a few years ago.

They take one glance at Flash's finale last season and think 'I thought we finally rid ourselves of Power Rangers?' I meant more the âregulators arenât going to let two major networks owned by the same conglomerate since they had Disney sell sports networks they brought from FOX which are much more minorâ than anything to do with the stuff there themselves. EDIT: Also to add, Sky News in the UK was originally part of the deal until the OFCOM stepped in to basically say "Nah" which means it's still technically a part of FOX as a company. I thought that after OFCOM said Sky couldnât sell to Disney, they ended up selling to Comcast.

Funnily enough, looking it up, it was Comcast outbidding Disney for it which came before Disney's announced offer for Fox, which Comcast tried to hijack themselves so they were sort of connected.

The CW itself is as sexy as its characters.

All American is a great show. Intrigued by it's upcoming spinoff as I don't think the original series has much left

Not surprising at all, most of the success from CW shows comes from streaming deals now and if Warner and Viacom sell off controlling interest then CW also wouldnât own their own in-house production studio anymore either meaning they wouldnât see the streaming money. Hell, as it stands, CW is barely a network by normal standards and closer to a group of affiliates. No national news, no national sports, considerably less network provided shows leaving much of the broadcast time to be filled with syndication or regional programming.

The more I think about it, I'm glad CW was a failure. They canceled a bunch of great Black shows for soulless reboots, cheap-ass "we want the Twilight audience" cash grabs, and a couple of shows for DC characters they didn't think could carry a film (Flash and Supergirl notwithstanding, apparently).

Well there goes my dream of becoming the president of all Anime, and Manga so I could sell Rosario+Vampire to the CW as a teen drama.
Because I have no soul.

Because that's what we need right now: more must-run political segments.
