AEW has yet to do an actually bad show, but this is one of the worst I have yet seen from them.

Thought the opener was great, FTW match was fine, and main event was good, but the complete foregone conclusion of the winner took me out of it.

7. If it had been a random Rampage, this would have been better, but as a "special show", there was nothing all that special about it. That's not entirely AEW's fault since one of the marquee matches got cancelled at the last second, but it's not entirely not their fault since nobody forced them to book an underwhelming finish or expect us to take Matt Sydal seriously as a title challenger with no buildup.
But I won't rank it too low because all three matches were good. Sydal deserves better than being Koko B Ware (no offence to Koko).
(Also, does every single thread have to have Britt Baker Discourse? There is a thread specifically for that.)

5. I was basically checked out after the opener and that had a little too much in it, I think I'll always struggle with a Canadian Destroyer through a table on the floor being a near fall then winning with a roll up. It was never going to happen but I'd have had much more interest in Dustin as interim champ and the potential stories coming out of that. Overall it was a great match.
The other two matches just fell flat for me unfortunately.

I went with 8. I think the Riho feud was maybe Britt's best feud yet, probably since Riho actually had her on the ropes in their previous outings, but I hope whatever Britt's next feud is, she drops the title. It's out of juice.
