There will always be people who leap to AEW's defence about this that it's a coincidence or whatever but until there's a non-Britt women's main event this will continue to piss me off. Eh,even here I feel like this is a rather popular opinion. Considering we have a thread about how routine and dull Britt’s reign has become, I can believe it.

Am I still the only one who believes we have a major swerve happening between Wardlow & MJF? I don’t think it’s Wardlow who turns faces..I think it’s MJF. Pinnacle is not a real faction..there is no chemistry. Take Wardlow and FTR and match them up with Cody Rhodes or Andrade. CM Punk/Wardlow match tonight will only make it seem more like the traditional break up between the chicken heel and it’s heater.
But not this time.
Khan is going to shock the world.
MJF turning face for next 18 or so months.
Buckle up!

We need a serious explanation for why Lio Rush is with Dante again. Dante turned on him to join Team Tazz a week before the Diamond Ring battle royale was announced, then turned on Team Tazz during the battle royale and didn't bother to help out Lio at all.
The only options are:
- Dante's a time traveler
- Dante has an inside source within AEW matchmaking
- Dante's the world's dumbest mastermind

It's not especially well sold, and a good example of something that's too glossed over on TV.

The only way that could possibly be explained is that Dante has an inside source with AEW matchmaking, since he would have to know about the battle royale ahead of time and would have to know he would be in it(and they never explained how people were given or denied entry to the battle royale).

MJF is definitely screwing over Punk, but how?
like Punk last week aka hitting the opponent aka Wardlow? 😬
or
the boring option Wardlow wins by count out after MJF hits Punk when ref isn't looking?

I think MJF costs Wardlow the match tonight…but it actually was an accident. Eventually Wardlow, Tully, FTR and ____ (Cody?..or…Andrade?) all turn on MJF as he turns face for next 18 months. But tonight it “looks like” MJF screws over Wardlow…but in reality it wasn’t an intentional screw job. I think. I believe. I want to believe. I think.

That Shida-Serena feud has no legs left to main event lmao. This is the 4th??? match pffft. Crowd gonna be pretty dead if it's in the second hour of the show.

Crowds been pretty hyped for their matches so far as far as I remember, and it probably is the top of the second hour and I think it's earned that right

The Punk/Wardlow match will end in one of two ways:
1) MJF tries to help Wardlow win, it backfires, and Punk wins, causing more dissention between MJF/Wardlow. 2) MJF intentionally gets Punk DQ'ed by attacking Wardlow (to play off what Punk did last week), and Wardlow finally snaps on him.
My guess is #1 is more likely.

That's all this feud is and hey, I love it since Batista's face turn is one of the greatest angles in wrestling history. It was done perfectly. If this is anything similar then it's an automatic A in my book.

Hangman Page will be on the show to cut a promo, likely setting up his next feud.

Penta will take on Matt Hardy. That's such a 1997 Nitro match and I love it.
