"My stepson's gone flamboyant so I'm gonna beat the shit out of him, and it's all legal cuz it's in a rasslin' ring!" Stepdad was the face. This was in Maine. I left the show after this. Reminds me of a tweet I saw on Reddit yesterday. Guy said his grandfather caught him using eyeliner, so made him chop wood the rest of day to get all queer out of him! Says he’s still gay, but now can build a fabulous log cabin.

I will find the match tomorrow, But years ago cause 3 people didnt make teh show Pro Wrestling EGO held a Tables Chairs and Sipee cups match.
Was the owner of EGO Dynamite Jay Andrews vs Joey Abel. They had tables of course and chairs. And they got some cheap sipee cups from a near by Dollar General.
Jay also wants to book a "royal rumble in a cage. To get eliminated you have to be throw over the top of the cage to the floor."

I bet I'll find the answer by opening a random DDT card from 2008.
Or 1991 Halloween Havoc Chamber of Horrors. Appropriate name...

Chief Jay Strongbow vs. Don Kent in a Shark Cage Match. Man, those old Wrestling Gold DVDs were such a revelation.

Pretty sure the stepson was also legitimately his stepson. I can't remember if they had rebranded from New Wrestling Horizons at that point.

What promotion had it's matches taped in a studio with pink walls?
Whatever that was, every match looked weird.

While not weird in and of itself, the booking was strange. The match pitted the current (at the time) WWF Heavyweight Champion, The Rock in a hardcore match against Kurt Angle and the then reigning WWF Hardcore Champion, The Big Show for the WWF Hardcore Championship. It was strange because it was the main event of that RAW, and just the prior evening The Rock had defeated Kurt Angle for the WWF Heavyweight Championship at No Way Out. I believe that Big Show pinned Essa Rios (and the last time I saw Essa Rios on WWF TV, and he had been missing for the past ten months) in order to win the match. It was just so surreal to watch.

Pretty sure the stepson was also legitimately his stepson. I can't remember if they had rebranded from New Wrestling Horizons at that point. Larry and Kyle are both good dudes. Larry is all gimmick and crowd work, so he’s easy to work with if you listen. Last I knew, he was only working APW and Maine stuff, but I haven’t kept up with much since the start of 2020. He’s definitely a “super vet,” type of guy. Kyle was always a good kid, but don’t think he’s worked regularly anywhere in a few years. I don’t know what New Horizons is, so I’m guessing they’re one of the 1,000 promotions that have started in the past year, or they’re from way back. Although, if they’re a small, shitty promoting in Maine, there’s a chance I worked for them, but just forgot. I try to block out a lot of things from that state.

Nikolai Volkoff vs Bobby Fulton with no ring. I think this match is kind of sweet because isn't the backstory that the ring never showed up but Volkoff still wanted to try and give the fans something that they paid for. Really cool of him.
