They deserve kudos. That was a lot better than I thought it would be. It’s interesting that Jade didn’t have much chemistry with Rosa and Ruby, two of the better workers in the division, but she had great chemistry with Anna, who is slightly less green than Jade is. Sometimes you just have a connection. But they killed it. Red Velvet as well, their match in the tournament was Jade's previous best match.

I said it in another thread, but Jade has that "WCW Goldberg" factor to her. Is she the best worker? No. But has a physical charisma that's over with people. She's a spectacle and the streak plays into that, too. Whoever finally beats her is going to get a hell of a rub.

Also I wish she hurled Jon Silver in to the crowd like Spike Dudley

Jades look and natural charisma is matched by few in wrestling right now.

I think it was really good. I was kind of confident it would be, especially since A. Anna Jay's style isn't like the toughest thing in the world to keep up with, effective as its and B. sometimes two relative rookies can do really well because they're at similar experience levels and both have a lot to prove, and can't just relinquish control to a more experienced party to guide their hips. Sometimes, that's a major mess, but here, among other examples, it worked out beautifully.
Good match, and I feel like both of them had to be pretty jazzed backstage it went this nicely.

I was shocked by how much I enjoyed this match - came out of it with a higher opinion of both Jade and Anna as workers. If we get more matches like tonight and fewer like the Rosa and Ruby matches, this Jade reign might just end up being worthwhile after all.

That's pretty neat, and also on Smackdown's side, depressing.
Though you could include the RAW Women's Tag from this week and it's still probably be twice as long, this wasn't a great week in that regard for them...

I really enjoyed this more than I expected, thought Jay and Cargill clicked together really well. And so refreshing to have a female main event with no DMD in sight.

She looked so much more comfortable wrestling as a face and I hope they stick with that direction cause two heel womens champs that both also get cheered is kinda rough. Like you could literally just say her daughter was like "mommy whose this crusty guy that hangs out with you all day" and she realized the error of her ways. Jade's daughter acting as her Lawyer/Manager= Top Babyface of the Year

If this is the next program, I imagine the crowd may get behind Jade. The DC crowd was clapping and cheering for her at 11pm, and I think the recognized her hard work. Also, because SO MANY PEOPLE hate her online, I find myself rooting for her to prove them wrong, other people may as well. After last nights solid match, I think they will continue to do so.

Damn that was awesome. Anna Jay, Jade and Hook have about 70 matches between them and all killed it, it's rare they'd main event in a big televised promotion with that level of experience and if they did it's usually with more experienced wrestlers not each other.
I think there's a lot to be said for that approach, if you haven't seen them countless times they can keep you guessing, they had me a few times thinking it was the finishing sequence but kept going. Didn't have to rely on finisher kick-outs to do that either.

That's pretty neat, and also on Smackdown's side, depressing. Though you could include the RAW Women's Tag from this week and it's still probably be twice as long, this wasn't a great week in that regard for them... That's actually my twitter account lol Charlotte, Natalya and Naomi are better wrestlers than the 2 Women that main evented Rampage last night (I think Anna and Jade are better than Aliyah however) but their creative is complete shit and it's only going to get worse with Lauranitis back in charge With Jade, I've been very vocal about not putting the title on her. Heck I've had some people block me because of it. The way I see it there's 3 camps - The push Jade camp - People that are happy that she's getting this monster push - Jade haters camp - People that just hate on Jade, I've seen people on twitter put "that botch show" among other things, she gets a lot of unwarranted hate, I mean she's hardly Nia Jax or Eva Marie. - The people that like Jade but think it's too soon camp - This is the camp I'm in. You see if they'd waited 12 months for her to get more seasoning then I wouldn't have any issues with this push and it wouldn't have been met with a lot of pushback from a lot of people. I don't think I should be blasted for saying that she should be of a certain level to be champion. She's going to be great, if she consistently has performances like last night then she's going to do great things, but the skyrocket push I feel hasn't done her many favours with some fans. That's just my take on it. As for Anna Jay, I really hope people start giving her the benefit of the doubt now. Every time she's in a high profile match on TV she shows up and delivers, against Shida, Hayter and the street fight, but this was the most impressive by far since it was a main event and she was the "veteran" in the match. She sold and bumped her ass off and made jade look like a million Bucks. That said I don't think she carried Jade at all bar a couple of spots, Jade more than held her own. Hopefully now Anna Jay will start to get some wins on TV and have the focus on her and not her opponent because she's more than earned it and deserves it. She carried herself last night like a 10 year veteran so hopefully she's not stuck only on Dark for the next few months. They have a legit big star on their hands if she's booked correctly

Jade's best match to date. For as green as she is, she's shown she can do a solid 8 minute match with the right opponent. And she's pretty over. Probably won't be long until she's a face.
