I thought it was a 6/10.
-I liked both WWE and Universal title matches, even if they had non-clean finishes.
-The Women's Rumble match was a lot more entertaining than I thought it would be.
-I fell asleep during the Men's Rumble match as the show went long and also it was boring.

4.
Universal title was pretty much a spot fest with bizarre pacing. The finish would have been okay if I had even the slightest belief that this is going somewhere, but given that Roman is pretty much set for a match with Lesnar at this point, and Rollins has seemingly been the plan for the WWE Title at Wrestlemania making this seem pretty pointless all things considered. On the other and the character work of Seth Rollins here was a blast.
Women's rumble had no real flow to it. Ronda's return was neat but then her entire time in the match amounted to her pinning somebody in a corner and punching them in various parts of the body. Legends entered, got tossed out almost instantly to the extent it was almost comical. And the whole time it seems that the fans did not care.
Women's title was just awful. At no point did anybody think Doudrop actually had a shot at winning, and most of it was Becky just trying to avoid Doudrop's offense.
WWE Title was a fairly decent slugfest, but once the ref went down the finish was pretty obvious. The only part I didn't see coming was Paul Heyman turning on Brock. Still a good hossfight.
Mixed tag was the absolute dogshit worst thing o this card. I never cared, it was slow, it was awkward and the outcome was never in doubt.
Men's Rumble was kind of similar to the Women's Rumble in the sense that there was no real flow. There were some highlights such as AJ Styles run early, and Chad Gable being a ham. But none of it felt like it mattered once Lesnar entered. Which was also predictable because by the end of it, there seemed to be no plans with any of the people in the match.
Not terrible but below average.

It can have 1 point for Ivory, 1 point for acknowledging Mickie and 1 point for Bad Bunny still being the best celebrity wrestler ever.
3.
And that's being generous.
I hope Mickie returned that black trash bag to them so they can put that show in it.

7/10. Entertaining almost from start to finish. I could have lived without the It Couple/Grit Couple match, there weren't enough surprise entrants in the men's RR match and Bunny was too strong for a non-wrestler, but otherwise it was fine.

By the end I was sitting in my chair with my chin on my hand trying to prop myself up. And it's not even bedtime. Imagine watching this live in Europe, from 2AM to 6AM. Man, am I thankful for WWE Network.

I have it a 5. Had fun with the Woman’s Rumble, the title matches were fun enough, seeing Edge and Beth was also fun. The men’s rumble sucked so much ass, but not a kill the rest of the show level. Honestly after sleeping on it, I’d go higher. The men’s rumble wasn’t great and left a sour end to the night but I enjoyed the rest of the show. 7.

The Royal Rumble matches itself were big bummers.
I loved the Rollins/Reigns match. The storytelling was fascinating and top-notch stuff. Many didn't like the finish, but that's fine, because it showed Reigns crack and extends this to a second match in Saudi.
No reason to have Becky/Doudrop other than a placeholder.
Edge's mixed tag should NOT have been a placeholder. That deserved better and WWE's booking didn't give them that.
Lashley/Lesnar looked rough, but in a MMA fighter way. This is the one I didn't want to end the way it did, especially with how long we waited for this dream match. And psychologically speaking, it made no sense for Reigns to attack Lesnar. He was done with him and moved on. But then after the Rumble match, it's clear that is the direction.
Also, with the Rumble matches, there wasn't much element of surprise or intrigue. Nothing made those matches really special. So I'll give this show a 5, saved by Rollins/Reigns from being an abysmal Rumble event.

I haven't watched WWE since the last Rumble. My step son wanted to watch it, so we did as well as my wife (who hates wrestling) and my brother in law ( who doesn't hate it but hasn't watched in 20 years or so).
Honestly, it wasn't great but we were all entertained enough (even my wife) until the end, which was dog crap terrible.
So for that I give it a 5.

A generous 3 - one point for Seth's entrance, one point for Seth/Roman as a match, and, uh, one point for Ivory and Bad Bunny's respective Rumble performances.
Absolute dogshit show.

I seriously said "who the hell is this" when music hit damn near 40 times. So much generic buttrock.
Felt like I hadn't seen WWE in like 20 years. Dreadful.

I gave it a 10 thought it was a great show. I honestly do not get the dislike for the men's Rumble match. It had a terrible winner but the match itself seemed pretty good. There was nothing like one person entering three times or the winner leaving the ring early only to come back late and win. By any standard I can use it is much much better than the worst rumbles. Add to that a great universal title match, a WWE title match with a good twist and new champion, the Women's rumble and the mixed tag both being good. The only downer was the Women's title match. Which is sad because I like doudrop. With a proper build say a 4 to 6 month dominate winning streak and a clear face vs heel dynamic could have a great match with Becky.
