Shane joins TNA and randomly starts Impact Underground which will feature a worked shoot fight between Sami Callihan and Eddie Edwards in a makeshift area in the parkinglot.

If there's one thing we've all learned today, it's that we should only trust RingsideNews when they report on Shane McMahon.

If there's one thing we've all learned today, it's that we should only trust RingsideNews when they report on Shane McMahon. That's the crazy thing about wrestling, we could all make up fake news stories and chances are one will come true. On the flipside many stories seem to defy common sense so we don't believe them, forgetting common sense doesn't apply. Most importantly of they're only reliable for Shane then that must mean one of Mean Street Posse is their source.

Part of me is actually wondering if Shane's ouster was a result of a botched health check. Because photos of him during that match made him look ready to keel over from a coronary any second. That's how he was during his last stint. Dude got gassed walking to the ring. That's true - but given all the scuttlebutt about an impending sale, I would think that the last thing any potential buyer wants to see is the current owner's son and possible heir keeling over in the ring. There are many vectors by which a wrestler can "not go anymore." The potential for a cardiac event, especially with Triple H still recovering from his, was probably too great to ignore, but Shane may have tried to skirt any health checks that would have picked up such an issue. This is a 52-year-old man who was never in the best of shape physically but who had sought to participate in a very taxing, very risky sporting endeavour. If HHH, who maintained a working physique even after his career ended, could suffer a cardiac issue, Shane would be considered at even higher risk.

Pretty sad that Bastion Booger who was morbidly obese looked to be in better shape than Shane is right now

Alright, be honest... who else is going to rewatch the men's Rumble for just the Shane parts now? I wasn't...until you planted this seed of an idea.

So the Shane is hard to work to with rumour already started | Honestly I feel it is more believiable the report that it is because he messed up Bad Bunny's spots (and now my opnion, not part of the report) but is being overall a scapegoat for the shitfest that was the rumble I guess someone agrees with me at least!

I love the idea that WWE has a well oiled, fast acting system in place to oust anyone in a high up position, but not a too high up position, when blame needs to be cast, but not anything to fix a majority of the issues that caused the blame in the first place.
While this sounds like a different situation, I can't help but think about:

PWInsider is reporting that the talk is Shane was upset at the Rumble because he wasn't being allowed to do what he wanted, and that he was more preoccupied with his stuff in the match rather than the match itself. He won a striking contest with Matt Riddle, and eliminated Kevin Owens by himself. What the f*** else did he want to do and was shot down? Win?

Vince McMahon would rather let his own son leave before Mustafa Ali.

While this sounds like a different situation, I can't help but think about: We've been in this part of the 'the wheels are falling off' lifecycle for a few years now. Nothing can change because the people at the top are set in their ways, but they ahve to make it look like things will change, so we're getting people thrown out of top positions or set up to take the fall for assorted f***-ups to protect the people at the top. Vince is the only truly bulletproof one here, Nick Khan is also pretty high up because wall street likes his bloodthirst, and then if possible, Johnny Ace and Prichard et. al are the ones Vince wants to keep around him because they fluff his dick for him. But if they run out of people to go? Ace and Prichard will get sacked too. f***ed up that in the past twelve months it's happened twice now with Vince's own family, but that's how the cycle goes. We're not gonna see anything get fixed, just turnaround and firings and blame games from people desperate to hold onto their jobs before the gun gets turned on them.

Being employed by WWE is just career russian roulette but the joke here is there is no slot without a bullet just a game of who gets shot next untill there is no one left.
