Where is a good place to go end of Feb start of March What are your interest and hobbies? Are you traveling alone, with a SO, with friends or with children? All could help narrow down a list

Vacations just stress me out. Planning things, spending a bunch of money, and then having to play catch up with work when I get back.
If my wife didn't want to keep dragging us to Disney (and I would have already put my foot down on that if it weren't for our kid) I'd almost exclusively do short staycations.

Best vacation I ever had was telling everybody I was leaving for a week and I stayed home, closed the curtains and turned no lights on.

Not Niagara Falls, I can tell you from experience. My brother went there, when he said he was going to my husband's and my family wedding ceremony. We were able to have a celebration in 2020, with very few people, there. He didn't go to that one, either. Now, even my mom calls him a dick, and Niagara Falls has become a running joke in the family.

UK should be relatively simple at that point and everything fully open with no restrictions. Of course it's likely to be cold and wet but if you like the museums etc that don't really matter. Downside of pretneding covid is over is that you're more likely to get covid.

The city of cavemen. The City of Bedrock. I'd be a Flintstone, now I'll tell you why

This was my first thought too. As a Brit, I’m off to Spain during the exact timescale you’ve mentioned. I don’t know where you live, OP, but for me Spain is a relatively short flight, warmer than England and just a relaxing getaway. Enjoy your holiday wherever you decide.

I live in Southern California and my choices are within driving distance
For a city vacation, we head down to San Diego. It is a beautiful city with great beaches. There are loads of places to get delicious food. Sea world. Lego land. Birch Aquarium at Scripps Oceanographic. Kayaking at the sea caves in La Jolla. You can run down to Tijuana if you choose. So many fun things to do.
For a kick back vacation, we head up the coast to Cayucos. It is a little beach town near Morro Bay. Very laid back and relaxing. The people are friendly. Plenty of beautiful beaches nearby. Cute towns to walk around in. Great food in the oddest places (Mexican food in a gas station, sandwiches from a liquor store). Amazing sunsets. Plenty of stars because there is no light pollution. Close to Hearst Castle.

Staycation is what I did when all the parts for building my PC came in(first time doing that). I spent all three days just playing the Total War series and gorging on pizza. It was heaven.
