6/10. The matches were good, but having Dan Lambert on twice in one show really dragged things down.

I feel like if we could put Dan Lambert and Shane McMahon together the universe would implode.

Mox/Yuta was good for being a last-minute replacement because of Brian Kendrick being a dickbag, and I'm really intrigued by this teasing of a Danielson-led faction possibly including Moxley. The main event was also stellar and having MJF beat Punk in Chicago was a pretty ballsy choice. Tells me the feud isn't over yet and I just want to see these two get into a blood war for Revolution, hopefully culminating in Wardlow's face turn.
Ruby vs. Nyla was good though really would've preferred seeing Ruby win, and the show was a bit too lopsided towards heels winning. Only thing I didn't like was the Brandi and Dan Lambert segment. That was absolute dogshit and not even Paige Van Zant could save it.
Overall, I'll go with an 8. Great show that could've been excellent but yeesh that Brandi/Lambert segment was terrible.

They need to do the turn soon. They were “teasing tension” back when it was MJF vs. Cody, and it feels like the story has been dragged out long enough imo. Ok but realistically, the turn either happens at a PPV or the fallout of a PPV where MJF's plan fails... this wasnt the night to do it, cause this wasnt a feud ending match Never said it should happen tonight, I said it should happen soon. It’s been dragged out long enough. It’s getting repetitive now.

Like unless I've missed something with how some people reacted, I have no reason to believe that isnt the plan for when this Punk feud climaxes at Revolution, and it's been built up right alongside it, and will undoubtedly continue to be since Wardlow gave MJF the ring, Punk will have plenty to say

The Women’s Division feels WAY too heel dominate right now. No babyface feels like they have any momentum. And they really do not seem to know what to do with Ruby. When was the last time a babyface won a match on Dynamite or Rampage? This week Nyla beat Ruby Last week Jade beat Julia and Leyla beat Velvet The week before Jade beat Anna and Deeb beat Skye Blue The week before that Deeb beat Shida and Bunny/Penelope/Nyla won a 6 women tag The week before that Britt beat Riho and Jade won the TBS title I mean seriously. Why are all the babyfaces booked like dogshit?? As for Ruby, honestly she's been very hit and miss so far, this was actually a good showing tonight, her 2nd best match just behind her match with Statlander, but on other occasions she's been very underwhelming, like her match with Jade among others Edit : Oh and Britt beat Statlander in a mixed tag, how could a forget that. She's basically Britts personal bitch at this point.

9/10, only minus 1 for Brandi
Punk hit the goddamn Pepsi Plunge for the first time in nearly 2 decades just to put a guy over
The camera work on the ring handoff was awesome

Wardlow needs to turn on MJF at Revolution imo.

When was the last time a babyface won a match on Dynamite or Rampage? Ruby beating Nyla. really?? That was last year. That's really terrible lol. I suspect that'll change on Friday with Rosa beating Martinez, but still, he needs to build his babyfaces up. Tay Conti for example hadn't been on Dynamite since she lost to Britt at Fullgear, she was at her hottest after that match but they haven't capitalised on that at all.

Again, I do get what you're saying here and AEW does need to figure out stat how to build up face women, though. That being said, this was still the right result for this match.

8 out of 10, IMHO. Another top-notch show was very good but could have been great with a few tweaks.

The point of view I'm trying to look at it is, where does Nyla go from here? You can argue she needed it more, it think Nyla in general has always been booked fairly strongly, but the issue is that both champions are heels. What does this set Nyla up for. Perhaps if a Toni Storm or Athena come in then Nyla could be their first feud, maybe that's what they're going for. Just trying to think outside the box

Just trying to think outside the box I think it's as simple as "Ruby wins match three" and maybe Nyla fires Vickie if their plan fails. I really do think the plan here is to get Ruby over more

If Ruby wins the decider then set a feud up with her and Deeb next, keeps them both busy and gets their teeth into something before Shida comes back and the Owen Cup starts
