“Yeah, this the worst I’ve seen since I’ve been here”
“How long have you been here?”
“Like a month.”
“…Hm. Probably should have asked someone else.”

A picture's worth a thousand words I'd like to take credit for those thread titles working so well together.

I'm not surprised, no one has any sense of job security. Plus the success of the company is hinged on cutting back costs, and not on any real performance based metrics. The wrestlers, despite typically being the product promoting the brand are pretty incidental to what they're actually selling, which is basically just generic content time filler.

I’m not surprised, it sounds like chaos backstage. They openly fire scores of people while bragging about record profits. Then they hold people like Ali in career limbo. Outside of like 4-5 top people Max, they do not seem to care about the other talent, etc.

It really can't be overstated how the roster is being affected by the break-up of The Mighty Mighty Bosstones.

I expect alot of talent will be walking away once their deals are up instead of just asking for their release after whats going on with Ali.
New Day will be a trio to keep an eye on.

I love All Time Low! Why did morale hit them?
Oh...

Those four people who matter to Vince are likely Reigns, Lesnar, Charlotte, and Becky. Rousey's another, which would be five, but still a bad situation either way.

Can imagine lots more releases to come which will make it even worse but at the end of the day the company is making profit and that is all that matters to the higher ups.

It's okay! Morale will go right up when the wrestlers all get the bonuses they're due from WWE's record-breaking profits!!!!!

I do wonder. I guess no one around now would have been around for 1995, or if they had, it'd been so long at that point they don't remember how bad it was. Still, you made shit money but had job security. Now, depending on who you are, you might not get paid well plus they can just arbitrarily terminate you any time they feel like it.

The WWF wasn't part of the stock market at the time, which could be why.

The WWF wasn't part of the stock market at the time, which could be why. That, too. More of the roster at the time also were veterans and would have known how to ply their trade outside of WWE, whereas a lot of the roster now, WWE is the only wrestling company they've ever worked for. That's got to be pretty scary.
