Buddy Murphy is also coming according to Fightful Swerve Scott was also teasing something happening at 8PM tonight, for what it's worth Buddy's interesting because he's clearly connected to Malakai, so I thought it might be inevitable.

Surprised it took this long to bring Matthews in but, it’s probably was for the best since he’s pretty much gotten all of his post-WWE rust off of him.
I would love it if he were trying to usurp leadership of the Elite since he’s always been considered very similar to Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi.

And I’ve always wanted a Team Filthy invasion.

The show is at about 4400 tickets sold right now. Not great in a vacuum but should end up being around 500+ more tickets than their first show there. And unlike previous AEW shows, they've sold a good amount of tickets in the last week. Most shows sell the vast majority of tickets in the first week (whereas the opposite is true for WWE).

Think it's too soon for JE to drop the belts. They haven't had any meaningful defenses

Can't really remember anything of substance that's happened with the things since unless you count that awful neverending Lucha Bros. / FTR feud as noteworthy.

They are still keeping up the feud in AAA. Get some more new blood in the picture, where's Bear Country at. How many times are the likes of The Acclaimed gonna be ranked no.1?

I'm just wondering how the hell the Acclaimed are still #1 after Sting nearly beat them singlehandedly, and for that matter how many more matches Darby and Sting have to win before they get a tag title shot. Kind of a big part of why I'm just irritated with their whole act, they always f***ing win and it never actually matters. In general the ranking system just really, really sucks.

IDK I feel like Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus have been having a really good title reign so far, they've been having nonstop great matches. The belts feel far from meaningless to me.

100% agree. Just the image of the most child-friendly act* against the evil darkness gets it for me. And I don't think there's anything wrong with a shorter tag team title run, especially when one half of the team is Jungle Boy, someone AEW has solo aspirations for down the line. Maybe we could finally get the Christian turn and JB vs. Christian angle after the loss. *This is not a criticism, just an acknowledgment that on paper at least, a dinosaur and Tarzan are gimmicks kids would love

Yeah, Sting and Darby may have a win over the Acclaimed, but "Two grown men and they going through a goth phase" is worth at least 50 wins. So The Acclaimed is 50 -1 against just Sting and Darby.

I feel like people are blatantly ignoring their Rampage matches, where they have had great matches, with all different teams. Acclaimed have also won every match since losing to Darby and Sting to keep their ranking fresh It feels like serious projecting to say the belts are meaningless since the Bucks left, they've been featured a lot, even if it isn't always Dynamite.

Glad Buddy is coming in. I hope he's booked like Attitude Era Triple H. Dude was such an asskicking menace of a heel and that's one thing I'm really wanting to see in AEW. We've got heels like MJF, we've got asskickers but I haven't seen one heel that's really felt like they were where Trips was. I would say Omega or Jericho are the closest but those dudes joke and play around too much. Buddy can be that...in due time.
Regardless what he does, he's proved his worth with 205 Live. That entire 205 Live crew in it's prime years are stars.

Well, for one thing, as far as I'm concerned if a tree falls on a show other than Dynamite it doesn't make a sound. Secondly, the Acclaimed has won one tag match since and it was over whoever the hell B-Jack and the Don are. It's not like they've built up some incredible win streak.

Hell yeah @ that recent rumored signing. Idk if its a spoiler or not so.
Also I just recently watched the RAW after Austin walked out in 2002 and it'd be rly f***ed up/funny if AEW just did That tonight.
