Can you imagine Goldberg showing up in AEW Don't you put that evil on us! (Granted, TK has shown he knows how to use legends to spotlight his roster, but still. Goldberg has nothing to offer in 2022.) Goldberg vs Hook would shatter PPV records!

At most, a legends type deal. Let him come in and spear a rando goofball heel running their mouth on a PPV or "premium event". He doesn't need to be competing in competitive matches nor do I need his Brock entitlement where he shows up and gets a title shot just because.

Who's next? Nobody. He should call it quits. The Lashley/Goldberg Saudi match was better than it had any right to be and should have been it but then he went and had an outright bad match with Roman. He's like Taker in that he doesn't know when to hang it up.
I'll give him this - I really think Goldberg was working hurt on Saturday. He basically limped to the ring, had a big ol' pad on his right knee, didn't do a kick during his entrance (from what I recall) and couldn't really run - Roman had to run at Goldberg to create movement on his spears.
That said, if you can't get through training without injuring yourself, then it's probably time. He's had a great career, did more in WWE than I ever thought he would, but it's time.

Can you imagine Goldberg showing up in AEW Can? I mean, legally speaking yes... Goldberg vs Big E should be hyped as Goldberg's retirement match. Only if the real retirement match is New Day vs. Three Goldbergs, and we need to wait for cloning technology to catch up.

The only way I want to see Goldberg in the WWE: He shows up for like 2-4 PPV's a year (big ones only). He targets some midcard heel that's not in a major match/story at the PPV, and kills them old WCW streak style. That's it. No more titles. No more big stories. Just killing a shithead heel a couple times a year with no build up.

This is why I don't want Austin to come back. And he's even more beat up and older than Goldberg.
I think people will get sick of another old guy taking a spot. Really hope he stays retired

Would they not want to do Goldberg Vs Austin if everything went swimmingly with Austin? Combined age of 120

Oldberg please go away and never come back. I wish you'd been left in 1998.

I really can't at all understand the desire for the Big E match. I mean, he wants it I guess but like, good for him? Still doesn't sound like it'd remotely be actually watchable.

I think at this point people are grasping at straws hoping that Big E can have something substantial at Mania and unfortunately, Goldberg's like the last thing left.

I mean, he should get something for the shambles of the reign he had but, well, if they were going to build to it, we’d have known by now considering.

20 years ago I would've said I had zero interest in seeing Goldberg ever again, much less now. Bruce: Vince, it looks like the fans don't want Goldberg back Vince: We'll sign him to 20 more matches anyway, Brucey.

I want to see him in the G1
On second thought, that probably goes from funny to tragic pretty quick for the field of opponents.
