Whether he ends up as the challenger to Edge or not given the various teases in that promo making it murky, it’s “likely” that there will be an introduction or match involving Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania. (This was tough to decipher as it seemed to be a mix of news and speculation.)
The two Elimination Chamber matches and event as a whole were shorter than usual because WWE had a specific 2:50 window to hit for the show as it aired on a local broadcast channel in Saudi that had a time restriction. Prior shows have aired on a pay channel where time was flexible.
Contrary to other reports, Usos-Viking Raiders was scheduled to happen on the show and was indeed cut for time to the attack angle. Dave noted how UFC will cut its video packages when shows run long, but WWE cuts wrestling/action.
Dave insinuates that Brock Lesnar breaking out of his pod was because Lesnar thought it was supposed to be his time to enter and didn’t know the lights landed on Bobby Lashley’s pod first on purpose. He was apparently supposed to wait longer before coming in and wrecking shit. Even though it was a couple minutes difference, the others had to skip spots and adjust.
Cesaro was not looking to leave WWE. His contract expiration is simply two sides being unable to come to terms as the expiration date approached with him not liking WWE’s most recent offer. The way Dave writes this, it seems like the door is open for a re-signing if the money is right but obviously he will have other interest now.
The plan is for NXT Stand & Deliver to be held at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, which will already be setup for WWE. It has a modest ticket goal of 5,000 given its an afternoon show the day of WrestleMania.
WWE is actually co-producing the Teddy Hart documentary on Peacock. And it does not have a rule for people not to participate, there may have just been some miscommunication.
There was a powerlifting competition at the PC. Bron Breakker blew away the competition doing 455 on a two-rep bench, 70 pounds more than Brutus Creed and Tony D’Angelo.

A Teddy Hart doc?
Sweet, I hope they interview Mr. Money.
MR. MONEY: What Teddy spent on weed, I doubled that on catnip. Wild times.

Sure those powerlifting competitions are fun for the trainees, but why have your champion and other prospects go for one rep maxes when they're likely too pumped to think straight anyway?

Coming soon to the WWE Network; 'The fall, Fall and Fall of Teddy Hart' It’s amazing how a guy who’s never risen can just keep falling.

I was going thru his laundry list of shit that I mostly knew about and then I found a nugget I didn't know before: he has multiple charges of injuring a child/elderly/disabled person.

I also want to add this...Big Dave took a shit on Lesnar. /photo/1 I still get a kick out of Lesnar's act whenever I see it, but Meltzer isn't wrong. I think he might be undermining how Cena got his start a little, but everything else is pretty on the money.

I do not agree with Money Meltz often but this one he is dead on with.
It is easy to shout from the top of the protected mountain bubble of Vincetopia that these other guys need to get over when you aren't the ones getting capped off at the knees every single time you do get even mildly over when they didnt want you to.

Cena is very much an example of a guy who got his initial main event push because the fans wanted it.

Cena did become the 'chosen one' but he fought to get there. WWE was completely prepared to do nothing with him until they released him, but then the rap gimmick got over. Even then, it wasn't the WWE forcing the gimmick on the fans at first.

I mean look at the Cesaro vs. Roman or Roman vs. Finn matches... the crowds were 100% ready for Cesaro or Finn to win... but they were made to look like goobers because INFINITE HEAT! This isn't even like the usual nonsense that Austin or Cena usually say about standing up for yourself against Vince... which when they were there probably did work... but Vince is older stubborner and more insane than when either of them were working.

Romans entire recent run with the title is prime example of why Brock saying this is horeshit. How many guys were ready to get elevated only to get cut down by Roman and he moves on and the other guy left to nothingness. Hell even the Uso's despite being aligned with him have suffered....everyone was praising them they were against Roman but fell to being nothing but his goon troop.
