The interesting thing for me is how they haven’t straight up cast her aside once her and Ivy Nile were knocked out of the Dusty. Like, for all intents and purposes it was going to be the stock-standard “main singles star gets paired up with the greenhorn, greenhorn loses, star is pissed off and beats them up to end the pairing of convenience”, but Paxley still wants in the Diamond Mine, and Nile isn’t completely rebuffing her, so… Fascinating undercard thing going on here. To be fair they’ve already fulfilled that trope(of makeshift tag team loses; the Heel blames the other for the loss and the Face gets destroyed) with Lash Legend and Amari Miller. Not to mention you also got Indi & Persia about to break up as well coming out of this tournament too. Now, Tatum could end up proving herself and she ends up joining Diamond Mine in the end or she’s gonna get abused by Ivy for weeks/months on end until she’s had enough and fights back and this ends up as Ivy’s first actual feud. |

They should drop the first name and just have her go by Paxley. Just wait til she gets to the main roster. Vince loves shortening ring names then. |

Tatum finally made another appearance on NXT tonight very briefly. It's been several weeks, but she was at the Diamond Mine Dojo trying to do rookie work. Ivy Nile still doesn't like her though. Why don't you like her, Ivy?  |

Don't understand why she's trying to join the MMA wrestler group when it seems like the majority of her offense is gymnastic flippy moves. |

I mentioned it in the live thread but I find it funny how in every backstage segment she always sounds so pleasant even though someone is always being dismissive or just down right mean to her. She always sounds like a girl taking my order at Chick-fil-A. I'm just waiting for her to say "my pleasure" after Ivy Nile yells at her and tells her to leave the Diamond Mine dojo.
Honestly though in ring I think she has a really high ceiling. Probably the most of all the NXT newcomers. Even more then Ivy would say. She's insanely athletic (not on the level of someone like Bianca Belair but probably not too far off) and seems to be picking it up really quick. Biggest hurdle for her it seems is going to be range in promos and backstage segments.
