Koko must really be pissed off everytime there's a HOF induction that's disappointing or unworthy his name gets dragged up. I'm sure he got cheers from the crowd in his prime WWF days, his own action figure and was he in that Hogan cartoon as well? The Brooklyn Brawler was a heel at the same level as him, but people wouldn't complain if he got inducted (if he's not in already). Koko was above Brawler. Brawler was a straight Jobber. Koko was mostly a jobber to the stars, but he was really over and memorable. I was more referring to legacy (if possible to really compare) rather than ranking on the card. I agree Brawler was indeed a jobber through in through, but that was almost his gimmick in a way. He certainly in a way is hall of fame worthy in perhaps the opposite way Hogan, Austin etc are Actually, im fully aware I'm probably not making sense. If I'd any sense I'd just delete this and go straight to bed and not hit that 'create post' button.

Hot take: a jobber wing wouldn't be half bad.

Hot take: a jobber wing wouldn't be half bad. I think I would be ok with that. With wrestling it's tricky because obviously it's not a legit sport. It's all scripted. So really is it fair to penalize a guy like Koko because he was scripted to lose a lot? Also some of them like Brawler were memorable and around a very long time and were a big part in the big stars getting over.

Honestly i think she added a lot to Booker T and the King Booker character. That character wouldn't have been half as good without her and they played so well off each other. So sure put her in the Hall of Fame.

Ware was a legit Main Eventer and Upper Midcarder for many years in the Southern Territories. If he was on a card it was always one of the top 3 most important matches of the night,if he wasn't short and built the way he was he wouldn't have been booked so poorly in WWE. I am not sure why people always go after his HOF slot,it's the equivalent to a guy like R-Truth who held top title's elsewhere but Vince wanted him to be a comedy act,but no one is gonna complain when R-Truth eventually is put in the HOF

Unfortunately a 5'7" guy wasn't getting pushed in 1980's WWF no matter how much else they had going for them. It just wasn't happening.

At least 3/4 of today's WWE would give their left nut to be half as over as Koko B. Ware.

Could we see The Rockers in the HOF? Would make HBK the first three time inductee.

Every year there's a Hall of Fame inductee that people go crazy over. Like, do people not realize WWE is fake? Pro wrestling is fake? It's a TV show for kids.
WWE DOES NOT base their inductees into the HOF like a REAL sport does, based on accolades, achievements, legacy, how they improved the game. No, it's basically who answers the phone call. IF you were somewhat a mainstay character in the company, you're a Hall of Famer. WWE DOES NOT base a Hall of Famer based on their title wins, how many "5 star classics" they had, how good in the ring they were It's ALL for show and tell, just a night to remember the legends and superstars of yesterday, THAT'S IT! If they built in on accolades and legendary status, then you only have a few people left. The Rock, John Cena, Randy Orton, Batista, Triple H as a solo act, Chris Jericho and Mysterio. CM Punk will probably go in later is his career, same with Danielson. That's really it. 8, maybe 12 people over the course of 30+ years of wrestling. How's that fair to the many people who have traveled the roads, did the grind, were favorites to other people, had interesting and fun careers.
People always bring up KO. B. Ware, or Torrie Wilson as "scraping the barrel," like Torrie Wilson wasn't insanely over from 2002-2004 and was one of the main parts of Smackdown during that time. Yeah, sure, she wasn't a "real wrestler," but it's NOT REAL to being with. And I love how no one brings up someone like The Godfather as "scrapping the barrel," even though he wasn't a multiple time world champion or main event star, but he was from the Attitude Era "when it was FOR REALZ" therefore it's ok. I don't remember much complaint's when Beth Pheonix went in either, oh that's right "she's strong like Chyna so that mean's she's good."
And people all always like, "but what about this person, or that person, how can Sharmell go in before Victoria, or Gail Kim." There's not a f***in' line on people they call. It's basically who answers the phone, and who they call at that given year. If Molly Holly goes in next year, that doesn't mean she's "any less" of a Hall of Famer than Sharmell. People really have to stop taking the HOF so personally, like this isn't to be taken seriously, wrestling itself it goofy and ridiculous.

I'm thankful that they didn't go all out on making this an Undertaker themed class. Otherwise we'd get Michelle or even... Sara Undertaker. Hey she has a win over Hall of Famer DDP.

I just disagree about wrestling "being a TV show for kids"... Yes kids watch. But most of the audience is fully grown adults. You also make it sound like because it's fake, there's no skill involved. There is a skill gap in wrestling and yes, Beth Phoenix was better at it than Torrie Wilson. More popular? Probably not but in terms of working a match, that is obvious. Every wrestler in the business, including Torrie would vouch for this too.
