Other than the spectacular entrances, I pick Undertaker vs Undertaker at SummerSlam 1994. I was in attendance for this match, and the crowd was the quietest wrestling crowd I’ve ever been apart of.

That Triple HHH vs Shawn Michaels Hell in the Cell match that felt like it went for Ten hours. Benoit vs. Kane for the title, cause you know your championship reign matters when f***ing KANE is the only other guy they could come up with for a lengthy program.

Goldust vs Warrior for the IC Title. Not sure what PPV it was but they had no actual match. Just some sort of cringeworthy nonsense skit which was not the least bit entertaining. I was looking forward to Warrior winning the belt...was never a fan of the Goldust character (would rather he came into the WWF as Dustin Rhodes) I wonder now if maybe one of them had an injury and couldnt wrestle so this was a last second scheme cooked up? It was a dud and a bore Also found the Hitman/Michaels Marathon Match a bit boring and far from the legendary classic they claim it to be. Not sure why they insist on rewriting history with this one. Was that when Warrior just took a seat in the ring and started puffing on Marlena's cigar? Yes, and then beat up Mantaur.

Shane Douglas Vs Pitbull.. the bald one as Barely Legal. Now, I'm a fan of Douglas overall. I even liked him in WCW, but holy shit this match just drags. Also, the Shawn Michaels/Triple H 3 Stages of Hell from Armageddon 2002. A few good spots strung together with plodding monotony. A shame after their incredible match from Summer slam that year. Oh and Jake Roberts Vs Rick Rude at Wrestlemania IV. Love this show, honestly, but one thing that really sticks out as a 'wtf' is letting these two go to a 15 minute time limit draw. They clearly planned a decent 5 minute match then threw in 10 minutes of rest holds. If they wanted a draw just have them brawl to the back or a double DQ or something. Very strange how they'd book two of their bigger stars like this. There's bound to be a lot more but these are the first three that come to mind. Yeah, they could have had a really good 5-minute double-countout match and given the other 10 minutes to DiBiase and Savage for the finals.

I'd have to say Goldust vs. Marty Jannetty from In Your House 4 is worth a mention. Spent all of this time building Goldust through vignettes and building him as possibly a top heel and they have him have a long and plodding match with Marty Jannetty, who they had just rehired again. That's actually a pretty good one. Not only was the match not good but it was the complete opposite of what Goldust needed. Like he's this new mysterious character who they had hyping for months and then he just wrestles this long and plodding match where he's making such tough work of Jannetty. He ended up just coming off like any other guy. I guess with Jannetty just coming back they didn't want to completely job him out but if that's the case then don't put him in the match. They should've just Goldust squash someone like Sparky Plugg or Aldo Montoya in like three minutes. Makes him look much stronger and more of a star and it also keeps the mystery surrounding him in that it doesn't give fans too much right away. I hate to say it - and I know the "better" match is far from a five-star classic - but this match should have been paced more like Uncle Elmer vs. Adrian Adonis from Wrestlemania 2. Goldust shouldn't exactly be "squashing" Jannetty or anyone else, let Jannetty get in some shots and get overconfident only to have Goldust use psychology to turn the match in his favor and win - all in three minutes.

Randy Orton vs Bray Wyatt at Mania 33 may be the worst match ive seen live simply because i was looking so forward to it and it was so mind numbingly boring

I thought of one that I'm surprised hasn't been mentioned yet. Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar from WrestleMania XX. Battle between two guys who were on their way out of the company and half-assed their way through a nearly 14 minute match that the MSG crowd absolutely shit on. Yes, but the crowd takes that match from "boring" to "infamous."

Even Goldust against Bigelow the next month at Survivor Series I thought was executed better. Granted a lot of it was because Bigelow was done afterwards so they didn't give a crap how about how he was presented but it was basically an extended squash where Bigelow could never really get out of the blocks and put any string of moves together because he was so befuddled and thrown off by Goldust's "bizarreness". Made Goldust look a lot better and put him over as being a good "psychological" wrestler who can dominate not necessarily by just sheer force but by getting in your head and more or less winning the match before it barely gets started. Also despite him being an androgynous and flamboyant character he was still a pretty big guy at about 6'5" or 6'6" so him squashing someone especially a smaller guy in an enhancer type role like Jannetty really wouldn't come off as ridiculous at all.

John Cena vs Shawn Michaels, April 2007 Raw. I don't know if they made it look interesting on TV but I've never seen so many headlocks and restholds outside of a Randy Orton match, you could really tell it was dragged out from a watchable format because of them cutting the advertised match between Edge and (ironically) Orton.

There was an Andre/Big John Studd match that’s so boring, Andre actually falls asleep during an excruciatingly long bearhug. It’s worth a watch just for that but MAN.

He had the size, sure, but "squasher" wouldn't have been a good fit for his character. We need to see that he can shift the momentum in his favor, so the other guy needs to get in some good offense.

It was actually a front facelock but either way it was pretty bad. I remember another Andre/Studd match where the finish was Studd grabbing a ringside table and hitting Andre over the head with it to get disqualified. I don't know if if was another case of Andre falling asleep or him just for whatever reason deciding he didn't want to get up but the next like 15 minutes of the brodcast was just Andre laying motionless face down on the floor and nobody knowing what to do. It was so strange.

It's on the WWE network in the Old School section, a Maple Leaf Gardens show from 11/10/85 where Andre gets hit over the head with a table by Studd and lays on the floor for what feels like an eternity.

I always go back to my childhood and remember buying the Colosseum VHS tape of WM 4 and remember the monotony of Jake Roberts v Rick Rude. Two tires and hungover guys trading chin locks and headlock for what seemed like an eternity

I am being 100% genuine when I say that you can pick literally any WWE match within the last couple of years and that would be my pick.

Raven vs. Regal at InVasion. A slow, plodding heel vs. heel with two guys whose styles just did not mesh. Only went six minutes but felt like 20.
