Should referees be inducted into the Hall of Fame?

The Hall of Fame has included wrestlers, managers, commentators, ring announcers, promoters, celebrities, and Warrior Award recipients.

Shouldn't referees get some recognition too? There have been plenty of long time employees who played vital parts over the years.

I’ve always said there should be a special wing for the “Employees” in the HoF. It’s actually what Warrior was referring to in his speech, that there should be recognition for the non-performing staff who work their arses off. Yet, when he died it became The Warrior Award as it is today.
If that was in place they could induct Referees and also long-time loyal Staff. Steve Lombardi for example, who would be derided if he was inducted as The Brooklyn Brawler or any of his other unfortunate gimmicks but most would give him his due for years of loyalty.
