The ministry of darkness era undertaker theme song is superb. It fit perfectly.
I prefer my time instead of the Motörhead one.
The heel rock version from when he came back in 2003 I really really like.
There’s pomp and circumstance for the Macho man which is a classic.

When I had WWF Attitude as a 13 year old, I put a tape recorder beside the TV and played each theme within in the game recording them onto cassette to make my own "WWF: The Music" complete with album art and tracklisting. At some stage I had a CD bought in the US of cover versions of wrestling themes from both WWF and WCW somehow which was pretty cool, I remember the Shamrock one being good. But my first official WWF CD was Aggression in 2000 which I f'n loved. Speaking of Attitude someone really should actually use Crimson Grin as a theme because it's a stellar one. I always loved Sugar Rush. Just insane shouting over a metal riff. Masterpiece.

If Girls In Cars wasn't a wrestling theme song and was just a regular song from the 80s, it would be fondly remembered in the same way Boys Of Summer, Girls Just Want To Have Fun etc are now.

The "Slow Chemical" Kane theme is f***ing awful, and I hate that Kane had it for years. "What if we made his theme slower and plodding, and then you get 4 femtoseconds of lyrics once he's in the ring. There, that was worth paying a band to make this." Benoit's theme similarly sucked. Glad I'm not the only one who hated those awful themes. Especially when Type O Negative recorded a much better theme around the same time for him which WWE never used or released.

Benoit’s theme was completely unintelligible to me. “Ahmeyoooooo, come gonna ta. Has ba me ayooooo!” I did like his WCW theme, starting from the first time I heard it watching SuperBrawl 3. linkWhile it came during a forgettable part of his career, I thought Brian Pillman’s song “Blondes Have More Fun” was pretty catchy.

New Jack having Natural Born Killaz play throughout his matches and the only way to get it to stop was by beating him was one the things that made him seem like a huge deal
Did any other Wrestler ever do that?
I can't imagine that working for any other Wrestler or with any other song

Somebody in the WWE must have REALLY disliked Rob Conway
A Randy Newman rip off is certainly a choice for a Wrestler to come out to.
Despite being a pretty jacked dude, that theme song immediately makes him the most nonthreatening Dude ever

I can't imagine that working for any other Wrestler or with any other song I could have sworn there was a Paul Orndorff match back when he had his "wonderful" theme (from the time where he met Gary Spivey) where he insisted it play through the match.

Thought this for years. The main riff of the original theme went from a crunchy sounding metal guitar thundering like the apocalypse was approaching and specifically wanted to kick your ass, to a half assed three note riff from someone who really didn't want to be there. Just lost all its impact.

Aleister Black's NXT theme is f'n epic. I never get tired of it and it's the perfect gym song. Hands down my favorite of the modern era. "Evil Ways" by Blues Saraceno is awesome as well and was used briefly by AJ Styles when he was doing the emo gimmick in TNA. Sadly, it's been used for so many TV show promos since that time that it's lost its cachet.

I feel the same way about Cherry's theme. Put that thing on a 1950s Music CD Infomercial called something like "Doo Wop Classics" and it'd fit right in. Cherry WWE Theme - Pretty Baby

Thinking about when Dale Oliver had to remake Sugar Ray's Caboose for Matt Bentley so he just did a cover with all the words changed to grunts and noises

NJPW has a trend of altering/downgrading themes and I'm not sure why?
First they re-mixed Kaze Ni Nare to be heavier and have a longer intro when it was already great. I've gotten used to it, I see what they're going for, but the original was perfect.
For WK15 they had Kota Ibushi come out to a 'bigger' version of Golden Star that has stuck since. I assume they want to signal him being in the upper echelon but it just sounds distorted. The instruments clash against each other terribly and have so little energy from the original.
Most egregiously, they just did the same to Will Ospreay's Bring It Down theme by adding awful horns and orchestral elements. Whatever one thinks of him, that theme was a banger and made his character work. Now he's coming out to something that sounds like a shitty fan-edit.
EDIT: They nearly did the same with the G1 Climax by not having the theme in the 2020 tournament, but they brought it back for last year's edition.

It's funny seeing entire crowds singing Judas, a song about alienating all of your friends and hitting rock bottom. That mixed with them panning to the crowd singing and no one seems to know the words at all. “WHAT HAVE I BECOME!! Now that I’m ash-fraid! Everyth-one I’ve ever loved I push them all away! And I have been a-fraid of the Judas in my mind! Is there something left for me to say…in the message of my life…MY LIFE!! IVE BECOME IVE BECOME IVE BECOME IT! IVE BECOME IVE BECOME IVE BECOME HIM! IVE BECOME IVE BECOME IVE BECOME IIIIIIIIIIIIT!! THE JUDAS IN THE JUDAS IN MY LIFE!!”

This is something my partner and I complain about regularly. They also did it to Tanahashi’s theme. I know Love & Energy was not as well received as High Energy (I personally lobe both) but the remix they have done has made it worse.

Line in the Sand > The Game It wouldn't have made sense since Evolution kicked him out but I would have loved Orton to keep Line in the Sand when he started his singles career

I like Ibushi and Ospreay's remixes, but I do think Ospreay's in particular should have been a one-off. I do agree that the edits to "Love & Energy" and "Kaze ni Nare" are downgrades, and hopefully the music department never messes with Okada or Naito's themes.

Jurassic Express's old theme was better. At the very least it should be the team theme while Tarzan Boy is specifically for Jungle Boy.
