Does it make it better or worse when the completely one-sided handicap squash match for some reason ends in a count out?

I think I got an aneurysm trying to make sense of that sentence, to be honest.

I think I got an aneurysm trying to make sense of that sentence, to be honest. On Raw they had Omos squash the Viking Raiders and for some reason opted to do it by having him knock Erik out of the ring and win by count out.

When I saw it was a 2 on 1 handicap, my first thought was "Oh lord, they're gonna have Omos squash The Raiders in a minute, aren't they?"
I was happy it ended like that.
Having said that, The Viking Raiders would be miles better off in AEW/ROH than here. Tag Teams will NEVER be taken seriously in this company unless it's to further some "odd couple-eventual breakup" storyline. In AEW, they could be having classics with The Bucks, House of Black, Jurassic Express, FTR, REDragon etc. Look how amazing and over they were in NXT... then they had to "rebrand" them as literal Vikings and change their names to crap like Erik and Ivar which doesn't sound threatening in the least.

I haven’t been watching regularly did the Fridge Raiders ever get their tag title match vs The Uso’s?

If that's their last match in WWE outside of the Andre Jobber Battle Royal, I will not be surprised, at all.
It was that bad, and the crowd f***ing went pin drop silent at how bad and embarrassing it was. Lashley revived them but it was BAD. Omos is TERRIBLE.

To be honest, if that wasn't a legit injury, I'll be relieved. The way the match just ended on one basic move (not even an Omos regular one), the way he rolled gently and slowly to the outside, and how the ref and the other Viking reacted, it looked like a legit issue and an end on the fly.
Not that I expected the Vikings to last much longer had it had not gone that way.

From the sounds of what Omos is capable of in the ring, he should try to win all his matches by count out.
Also, Viking Raiders are this far gone?! I loved their work in ROH/NXT. I stopped watching before their callup, and after hearing results like this, I'm glad. I refuse watch talent I've enjoyed in the past get butchered on a weekly basis.
Enjoy the money War Machine, and I hope to enjoy you again in the future.

I am really curious who agented that match because it was unclear after it was over what the hell it was trying to accomplish. It didn't put Omos over that much and made the Raiders look like shit.

On paper beating someone so bad they can't get up for 10 seconds sounds more impressive than beating someone so bad you can hold them down for 3 seconds. But the cynic in me says they just say the botched double pin spot last week and decided they don't trust Omos to execute pinfalls anymore.

Omos tried to figure out how to properly pin two guys this time and it took him 11 seconds.

That's a pretty sure sign that they are out of there.
Former undefeated NXT and Tag Champs and you do that for them? You mean you couldn't dress some 150 pound schnooks up as The Executioners or Conquistadors instead

I think Impact could use the Raiders more, honestly. ROH would be "Been there, done that" for them, and AEW already has so many teams that it's a logjam now.

Vince has been searching for a new giant for like... 30 years now. I guess the Big Show just wasn't good enough or what he was looking for, because it seems like there's a failed giant every 5 years or so that comes through and never quite reaches the mark of what Vince wants (which is another Andre).
The irony in this is that he had a pretty serviceable giant in Braun, but decided he cost too much or was too much hassle, either/or.
Either way, add Omos to the list "Very large and tall human beings that Vince pushes to the moon and then drops like a hot potato by means of release of jobbing the hell out of once he realizes they either suck or need more time to learn than he's willing to give them."
He'll join other WWE luminaries like Giant Gonzales, Giant Silva, and The Great Khali.

I haven’t been watching regularly did the Fridge Raiders ever get their tag title match vs The Uso’s? They got it a few weeks back on a random Smackdown and of course lost. For a second, I thought Omos legitimately injured the other Viking Raider (sorry I don't remember his name) with that clothesline.

I can see how taking a win by count out as a really smug heel move might be executed well. Get someone who revels in throwing a crumpled body over the ropes and standing there gloating and posing the whole time. Someone who's got like a one-hit kill move and that's how they want to put the move over differently. Maybe going on a tear of it with some enhancement talent and then low level guys until finally someone either valiantly gets up or slyly catches him from behind and sneaks out a win over him. I dunno just something. AN idea. AN attrempt to tell a continuous narrative using the mechanics of pro wrestling to do something.
I'm guessing none of that happened here.

As I understand it (going from a recap here) the match started, Omos hit Erik with a basic clothesline, Erik then took a nap outside the ring.

No, match started with some rough Omos hits, Erik went off the ropes for a charge, and took a rough clothesline and went down like a sack of spuds. Then Omos just stood there while Erik slowly rolled out of the ring gingerly, never once taking his hands off his head. The ref started a very slow ten count and about mid-way through the other Viking rushed round to check on Erik. Bell rang, and the cameras went straight to Omos. If it wasn't an injury they made it look like one, which is why it was more concerning than "FFS WWE squashing their midcard" reaction here.
