This is still the best episode of Raw so far this year.
It's an alright show with some pretty good moments after weeks and weeks of sub-septic awful shit.

If they delivered the show people wanted. Call-ups that were expected or hoped for. A few banger matches. Something fresh. I dare say the crowd would have been more into it. Some random chants always, but it's part of the fun, and I doubt the talent hate it as much as people think. But the majority of the show would have gotten a positive response. So far this has been the last few post Mania shows just with a full crowd. Like...if I'm Io Shirai, I would be pissed at my booking right now. Being the one to take the pin in the fatal four way pushed her out of the NXT Women's Title scene and was signs of a callup in the eyes of most. But it doesn't look like that's going to happen. So now she's going to be stuck in NXT spinning her wheels doing nothing until probably the draft at the earliest. Which is in October. And Asuka trended on Twitter tonight with people incredibly upset she didn't return. But lets break up not one, but two tag teams in a division that needs them, and also get Bianca booed with her terrible promo. This is the worst post-Mania RAW in WWE history. Io will be lucky if she survives the next Nick Khan list. Same with Karen Q and Dakota at this point. Possibly Asuka too. If Nikkita Lyons is their next go to girl, Cora may very well be called up and released too. Teams falling apart, Toxic A getting the tag belts back (I'm still holding hope that does not happen), possible cuts. Post Mania Season in effect. |
