I actually like Omos. I think he's a freak of nature, and has an interesting look that grabs your attention.
What's bad is his booking. He clearly isn't ready yet, and should be booked differently. Omos as the bodyguard who occasionally wrestles, or works in a tag team, would be better.
I also hate his gear. Dude looks like he walked out of the locker room after a nap.

He's improving but the thing is that he's still green and he's a big man. Big man just take a longer time to learn stuff because they're just not versatile in learning all the areas of the business, they just stick em with that "sell little, do little" stuff. He just wasn't ready for this. Just nah, should have had his 27 year old self in NXT for 1-2 more years to at least get more of the basics down. This might be controversial but considering he and Azzez (and Bruan) spent their entire NXT "career" on the Florida circuit, I'm pretty sure HHH didn't have any plans to have them trained in the same way others did. They likely fell into the "We hired them to fill a mandate but we weren't sure what their place would be" stuff Swerve was talking about. You could argue people like Conti and Purrazzo fit into that too considering. I can easily see that. That makes a ton of sense.

Thing was, he had a role that was f***ing fine until WWE decided to be hard headed like they are about literally everything and try to ram-rod a singles run through.
It’s so frustrating to see somebody be handed a spoon and decide they are gonna crack open a crab leg with it. Dawg, the tool for that is RIGHT NEXT TO YOU, what are you doing???

I also think them letting Wight and Henry walk when they were both willing to help younger talent and have something substantial to do probably hurt his ability to learn on the road. Say what you will about Braun when he started (and I will, he was horrendous), the moment he was in the ring with Show and Kane, he vastly improved. There's nobody on the Raw side at least who'd be able to do the same things with him and even the team with AJ was going to teach him so much.

Glad Lashley got a W in Jerry World, and MVP dumping him for Omos never came to pass.

Honestly, I don’t think he’s long for the company. His stock is plummeting and I don’t see him being on the roster by the end of summer.

Get Omos in a suit & pair of sunglasses and let him be somebody's muscle on TV. Behind the scenes, get him to the performance center and see what you can get out of him to re-debut in the ring eventually. He's a striking presence, but is nothing once the bell rings.

At some point WWE gotta realize hiring former Basketplayers is not a good idea. The sport doesnt leave their body in any good shape. And if they are, they will probably still be playing basketball Out of interest, how is a Basketball career unconductive to becoming a pro wrestler? People anwsered but yeh the knees Basketball Player are usually very tall which already makes the mobility rough and put a lot of tension on their knees. And comparing to other sports like Football and fighter were yeh you get injured, its not usually long term injury on your joints that leave you unable to move properly, unless its a career ending concussion which int that case you probably wont be going into wrestling anyway, you cant work around having bad knees.

Honestly, I'd probably have MVP and Lashley take an interest in him and bring him into Hurt Business. Like you say, give him a tailored suit and sunglasses and have him go around with them and hopefully at least pick up a personality.

You could argue people like Conti and Purrazzo fit into that too considering. And I think a lot could be made about what a disaster the Florida circuit was for NXT. When the original NXT is brought up, it'll always be about its run as the super Indy, but very few, if any, discord will be directed about the development, or lack thereof, that took place in armories around Florida. Sure, the loop was, at one point, integrated in the development of wrestlers during the early days of NXT after it replaced FCW but once the goal of NXT changed, it became a dumping ground for unwanted acts or people they had no plans for.

Giant Gonzalas also had a unique look, he wasn't any good either. The bigger problem is they want him to be their new Bigshow. Large guy they can ooh and aaah at but will lose most of the feuds he's in.
