I'd love to see a world based on Turning Red, after all Toronto is the original bizzaro world (at least according to WWE it is.)

I don't care about the overarching and overly complicated story. Just give me fun Disney worlds to play around in with a fun fighting system and fun mini-stories. I enjoyed 3 despite/because I paid zero attention to most of the plot.

Not surprised, Square isn't building a new engine for every game now so they can pump these out a little easier than they did in the 2010's

I do think it's pretty dumb to be doing this before at the very least doing the second part of Final Fantasy 7 Remake but I think it's already pretty abundantly clear that if that thing ends up being more than two games then it will never be finished.

Even though I thought 3 was too streamlined and a breeze to go through, I'll never not be excited for more Kingdom Hearts.

I enjoyed 3 despite/because I paid zero attention to most of the plot. It’s sort of what put me off from finishing the first one (along with the terrible puzzle structure) and what keeps me from carrying on with the series. I’d love to play a Disney RPG in the same way I’d play a Mario or Zelda game. Not have to think about too much and enjoy the gameplay and nostalgia kicks that happen. And yeah, I could just ignore the plot but…it’s a part of the game. I didn’t spend 70 hours on Persona 5 because I only cared about the gameplay, you know. But we’re well past that point and people like that so who am I to judge?

I'm not a fan of the series, but I'd to see them explore more Disney properties outside the usual Disney/Pixar bubble, like Marvel (MCU or comics), Star Wars, Scrubs, and Clerks: The Animated Series.

I'm surprised they haven't tried a turn-based Kingdom Hearts, yet.

I also love how in Quadratum, Sora is apparently living the good life in freakin' Aoyama lmao. That's one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in all Tokyo.

People are speculating if they see an AT-ST in the trailer. While Endor would be a fun world to explore, I’ve always liked the idea of having Maul, Vader, or Palpatine as a secret boss. Perhaps as part of someone’s training as a final test to show what will happen if you walk down the wrong path.

But we’re well past that point and people like that so who am I to judge? I hear you. I platinumed Persona 5, Persona 5 Royal, and Persona 5 Strikers. I wouldn't have gone through Royal if I didn't like the story and wanted to see the changes and additions to it. As an unashamed Disney and Final Fantasy fan though, I was only ever playing Kingdom Hearts for the Disney and FF stuff (and I'm very sad that the FF characters are no longer part of it.) Each world has its own little story to explain what you're doing and why and that's enough for me. I don't really pay attention to the cut scenes and still enjoy the games.

Bolded text...you might get that (admittedly this could be just someone seeing what they want to see instead of what is actually there)

I can pretty much pinpoint the exact second I stopped caring about the plot of Kingdom Hearts and it's the Radiant Garden Xemnas / Maleficient scene in 2.
It makes it especially easy to not care about the plot though that 2's ending works perfectly fine as a capstone on the story, it just then had a bunch of shit retconned into it in Final Mix and Birth by Sleep so it could keep going.

They should have used the old Final Fantasy style of "main sequels are stand alone stories on different worlds/universes" rather than the traditional sequel style. Convoluted story is the biggest drawback with Kingdom Hearts, IMHO.

I preordered KH3 YEARS before it came out because the price randomly dropped to like 30 bucks on Amazon
I found it mostly disappointing, and the price dropped like a rock so hard after it came out I could have picked up the entire saga for 30 bucks.
I'll wait for reviews and price drops on this one, even if it includes Star Wars. (Which it must because that is like 100% an AT-ST foot)
