There’s literally zero shame in not fitting in a product that changed direction whilst you are there. KUSHIDA rocked from mid 2020 to the switch to 2.0 tbf to him. All the best for his future

It's painfully clear he'll be lost in the shuffle there as well. AEW is way too bloated roster wise right now, at least on the mens side of things.

I wonder if NJPW will grant him his request to be in the HW division its the biggest reason he left to the WWE. If not he's gonna get lost in the shuffle in AEW

Yeah he'd be better off going to IMPACT or back to NJPW

Fightful Select mentioned that Kushida is gone because his contract expired and they elected to not renew his deal. That's the general consensus of everyone SRS talked to, with only ONE person saying it was due to budget cuts. But no one else backed that statement.

Given the timing, his contract expiring makes the most sense.

Now is the time to change up his look/presentation. It's the main thing hindering him in my opinion.
Dude is talented as hell, but the Marty McFly cosplay ain't it, and hasn't been.

We're going back to the WWE being about looks and bodies and not workers.. we're very quickly getting to that point too.

Maybe the same person who told him there was a fear of NXT cuts cause that has been a nothingburger so far, which is actually good since people are keeping their jobs.

But this is what they wanted and chose with casting out the indy and stand out talents from outside the company and want blank slates so.

Where are you seeing that? Social media isn't talking about Rey at all. It's in the RAW Thread, he also got moved to the alumni section. There's a WCW Alumni section on WWE's website which he is in, he's not in the WWE Alumni section, if he's there on the mobile version that's probably why

A talent completely whiffed on by WWE. I wonder if WWE knew this was coming. I'm watching last week's NXT where Von Wagner attacked Kushida and threw him into oblivion... literally.
I thought his ceiling in WWE would be Tajiri. A loveable Japan face that could form a tag team with someone and make memories, perhaps becoming tag champions. But WWE never let Kushida touch that.
Hopefully Kushida lands somewhere he can be used.
