Still won't be buying it but credit where it is due Jarrett is doing some solid work trying to build some heat.
Only trouble is Flair as a sympathetic babyface in 2022 is a hard sell which is saying something when you're taking about a 73 year old wrestling legend.

The Flair match aside, the card does look fantastic. Pending cost, I just might. About $35 USD. Was hoping for more in the GCW $10-$15 range, but I guess Flair won’t work for Jordan Oliver money. Still not an outrageous price. Might cop. |

Jarrett's podcast is mostly in kayfabe again to build for the match, and this time he brought along Jerry and Karen to help shit on Ric and Andrade even more. Absolutely fantastic stuff, Jerry's a damn good promo for a guy who hasn't cut one in decades plus he was able to blend shoot and kayfabe so well

I'm not going to buy the PPV, but Conrad did a helluva job with these videos (and the subtle jabs on his podcasts over the past few week/months) to actually get me interested in this match. I'm sure it's been mentioned already in the thread, but is Flair really a babyface in this other than being "the legend Ric Flair in his final match". He treated both Jay and Jeff as totally below him going into the turns. Of course, Jay and Jeff "went too far", but to me they were justified in being pissed. I don't know. |
