Something tells me that Andrade is going to be doing most of the heavy lifting while Flair just does his signature spots. Does he hit the corner flip on the first try or will it take multiple attempts? |

Coincidentally (?) Vice 1 PM eastern time has the Dark Side Plane Ride on. Not sure if it's a Dark Side marathon or just that episode. I just found it channel switching.

I'm interested to know if Steve McMichael was able to make this weekend. His ALS has left him completely bedridden at this point. |

Very excited for tonight. Flair is as proficient at pro wrestling as any other great artists of all time is at their craft. Michelangelo, da Vinci, Lennon/McCarthy, Spielberg, Flair.

I know people have really soured on Flair in recent times.. but just looking at this at face value, I'm happy for him. Yeah, he might've done some pretty negative things in his time here, but I have a hard time shitting on someone for doing something they love.
I hope he and everyone else involved has an amazing time, and that they can soak this in and enjoy being part of an historical card.

I would think so but I read two recent online articles with one saying he doesn't want to allow his condition to keep him from traveling and another that had Flair saying he was trying to make arrangements for Steve to be able to attend. Not sure if he's wishful thinking, working us or if it's actually possible. |

I watched the Roast on Friday. It was pretty tasteless at some points as all roasts can be, there were a few jokes that I thought went a bit too far. Like somebody made some crack about home invasions and Sonya Deville and it's not like she was there. I think if you're on the stage, you're fair game. Bully Ray also kissed Ric Flair's ass instead of roasting, of course.
Yesterday, bummer that they had to pull Ric away from that table to go do the stage show. Starrcast seems like it was pretty sloppy but Flair leaving the table seems to be a logistics issue and not "Flair being Flair" or whatever narrative was being spun on Twitter.
The show tonight should be interesting. It's going to be a great card, but the main event should be a freak show.

I saw clips from the roast and I agree with above being some of it was tasteless and to far. I still thinking about ordering the show because ME aside the under card looks great.

I'd put the Flair match on at the midpoint before an intermission for two reasons:
1. Ric can beat the traffic and go to the bar (hence not potentially showing up like Victory Road Jeff Harvey).
2. Taper any sour reactions and allow for the best wrestlers to main event. Either the Impact title or Mexican four-way have the best potential.

I was half joking a week or two ago when I said I was thinking about ordering it but after watching some YouTube videos or people being there this weekend and some of the videos on Fite, it is becoming really hard not to.
Obviously, Flair is drawing the house, but that undercard has a couple that should be absolute bangers. I'm resisting temptation for time being as I'm legitimately afraid of what could happen to Flair and I don't really want to see a death live before I go to bed.

The ropes seemed awfully loose on the preshow. Hope that won’t be a problem on the show.
