Yeah, he seems more lucid now, but it's still not worth risking it. He also had Noelle Foley as basically his travel companion to remember where his hotel is, etc. I do kind of wonder if that's why she seems to have dropped interest in wrestling herself. Noelle had to give wrestling up as she's struggled with Post Concussion Syndrome and concussion-induced tinnitus. It's affected her so much she's had to open an OnlyFans account to help pay for her medical treatment. Ahhh, I see. That's really unfortunate for a ton of reasons, but in part because I really think she would have excelled. And yeah, the state of the medical industry in the US is absolutely terrible from a cost versus what you're getting perspective. Well, that, and a whole lot of other ones, as well. Serious reforms need to be made.

Unfortunately her health is in such a bad way it seems even that would be too much:

If I was born in America, my family would have been bankrupt with what I have had done / needed to get done. Ahhh, I see. There's something really horrible about someone having to have an OnlyFans to cover medical bills, and that my second thought on that is how fortunate it is for her that she's attractive enough for OF to be an option. Plenty of people just have to deal with it or move to Canada.

Honestly I kinda wished Flair had died in there just so whoever booked this freakshow could be charged with Depraved Indifference.
As much as I think it'd cause just as many problems as it solves, s*** like this makes me think wrestling promotions need to be regulated if for no other reason than to protect these veterans from themselves.

Seriously. Chuck Liddel v Tito Ortiz 3 was safer than this.
Hell, Gabbi Garcia vs Yumiko Hotta was safer than this.
and those were legitimate fights!

Pro wrestling should really still be under an athletic commission with the sole requirement being that a wrestler can pass a legit physical before being allowed to wrestle. From all that I’ve seen and heard about this it’s some Kimbo/Dada 3000 level of nonsense.

Business wise the show was very successful. Would be surprised if Conrad doesn’t do another “Last Match” show on a big WWE weekend. So many possibilities. Kurt Angle, Mick Foley, Jeff Jarrett all would be good candidates. He was really banking off of WCW/JCP nostalgia

Holy f***. I just got around to finishing the show and the Flair match was terrifying. For the love of god don’t let him do that again. Ever.

It’s really ironic, considering who her dad is, that her career was ended due to concussions from a completely non wrestling related thing and Mick seems completely fine after all he put his body through

I haven't watched the match but have seen some bits and pieces. Outside of the drinking Flair was asked in another interview if he'd been given the all clear by his doctor and said outside of seeing a doctor for a specific illness he hadn't asked him his thoughts in weeks and did not intend to as he felt great.

I heard that this match was a train-wreck. I didn't see it. I also heard it was on PPV. I feel for the people who paid to watch it. Were there any other matches on the card shown, at least?

The fact that the announcers treated a vertical suplex as a death move, and that it believably could have been, tells you all you need to know.

Like, maybe the plan was for Jarrett to help him up there, acting like he was gonna superplex him, and either Andrade saves the day or Flair punches him away. I would think even in that case, Flair would have to actually hit the move - probably a double sledge, as he wouldn't be able to handle any top rope bump. Could he even handle the jump from the top though? But just seeing how hard it even was to get Flair on the top was scary to watch. So no top rope move of any kind was the better plan.
