"Last Match" when he had like 15 of them after WM 24

Health issues aside, it’s a pretty good draw - Ric Flair’s last match ever promoted by Jim Crockett Promotions and at the Nashville Fairgrounds.
I’m assuming it’ll be something like FTR & Flair vs. Lethal & the Rock and Roll Express. And Flair will just work a few minutes of the match.

Yet Luchasaurus is still wrestling and nobody says anything. Just shows the hypocrisy of AEW fans. /s

Former WCW announcer Chris Cruise is campaigning to stop Ric from wrestling again. Posted from his Facebook, I tried to embed but it didn’t work

Posted from his Facebook, I tried to embed but it didn’t work I have serious issues with Flair wrestling but this dude is straight up jacking off with this stuff. What is emailing the Maryland commission going to do? Even if I thought organizing a campaign was worth this effort he's doing the equivalent of a Change.org petition.

I seem to recall reading in the ApterMags that Ann Gunkel had led the charge for MD to require a doctor at ringside by law, as the result of her husband Ray dying in the ring. I'm not sure if that is still the case. If the match were to be held in MD, though, and the law still required anything like that, I doubt that the authorities in MD would actually clear Ric to wrestle. Looks to be a moot point, though.

Not only is this dude yelling into the wind, he's potentially burning his relationship with the Athletic Commission by publicly leading a campaign to blow up their inboxes with something they have zero authority over. What a putz

I'm really confused about the whole JCP on top of this crazy idea of Flair wrestling with all his health issues. I'm guessing this match is going to be where the NWA did the Crockett Cup a few months and where TNA was in the first few years. But how is JCP a thing again?

It's Conrad Thompson putting this thing together, apparently, under the Jim Crockett Promotions name. How in hell he got to use the company name is beyond me.
The rumour is that the match will be Flair and FTR vs Lethal and the Rock 'n' Roll Express. I can only ask why any of the current talents would want potentially to screw up their bookability this way. Yeah, it's likely just a one-off, but putting Flair anywhere near a ring is akin to putting Tammy Sytch behind the wheel of a car.

Fightful says it's Flair and FTR vs. RICKY STEAMBOAT and Rock 'N Roll.
Steamboat vs. Flair one more time, even if it's rough, is probably enough for me to buy out of curiosity.

Most of the focus seems to be on the “Flair is too old to be wrestling” part of the story but it’s disappointing yet not surprising considering it’s the wrestling business that people are cool working with this sex pest.
In the past you could at least say people had plausible deniability. The plane ride was almost like an old folk tale and talked about it like boys will be boys and relatively harmless drunkenness. After that Dark Side episode last year though and hearing all the specific details I (obviously foolishly) thought that Flair was practically done and no one with a decent reputation would agree to work with the guy again.
I'm convinced that if this goes down without any major pushback or controversy WWE or AEW will think the coast is clear and attempt to bring him in for some kind of TV role in the next 6-12 months. I really hope I'm wrong though.

Can’t wait to see what type of buyrate Flair and Steamboat can pop.

Apparently the last match they had together was Flair/Austin vs Steamboat/Sting in 1994
And they each have wrestled or will wrestle this year!
