“It’s all downhill from here really, I say that with the most optimistic point of view I can have really, I mean that in a good way. It was really unbelievable, it’s still unbelievable. Sometimes I’ll have my moments where I’m not doing anything and I’m just sitting around, and I’ll pull it up on my phone and I’ll specifically watch the moment where the ref rings the bell. I still can’t’ believe it happened, it’s really hard to process what happened, it’s hard to put it into words.”
“At one point, right before we went out, I caught a glimpse of him just pacing back and forth. He looked like a caged lion just ready to murder people, and I was like, oh man, this is going to be wild. It’s really all very surreal, it’s very hard to put into words, that’s so cliche when we talk about what we do. As I said, I get these moments where I just start reflecting on my career, and I was thinking how crazy it was when I started with Cena and how people around me were like, this is unbelievable.
“The one I’ll always hear is that you outlive any expectations any of us ever had for you. Everyone knows if you look at me, I don’t fit the stereotypical WWE superstar, a lot of people thought WWE would never take two looks at me. I got signed, which people were surprised by, then I won the NXT title two months in. ‘What the hell’s going on?’
“Then I show up on RAW and attack John Cena, now I’m wrestling Cena on a pay-per-view and I won. Then I won the Universal title, it just kept getting bigger and bigger, and then I beat the shit out of Vince McMahon on TV. Somehow, it keeps getting topped. But I don’t know what tops this…”

I mean, honestly, can't say I blame the guy.
Being potentially Austin's last match in his home state with one of the larger crowds he's been in front? Like...can't think of a way he could better that.

Well, dude is helping to launch the career of another legend in Ezekiel. That's another huge moment in his career.

I'm sure he didn't think he'd be in a feud where he was losing his mind at Ezekiel immediately after that happened either but if anything can truly raise the bar... ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png)

Realistic it’s very tough to beat. Even if Austin wrestled tomorrow so it wasn’t his last match, Owens/Austin would still be Austin’s comeback match after nearly 20 years. And in front of a huge WrestleMania crowd to boot.

But... imagine this.
We take out his brain, and put it into the body of a robot spider?
Imagine being the first robot spider superstar.
You can't top that.

Well for starters he can expose that fraud Ezekiel and show that he’s really Elias. I mean, how can he? He passed a lie detector. Those are infallible! There’s a reason they’re not allowed in a court of law. Frankly, this is all going to be looked back upon very poorly once KO proves that it’s really Elias and the roster and fans on social media have all been gaslighting him. They did the same thing to Sami Zayn. It’s not just a travesty. It’s a bona fide conspiracy.

I mean... dude has had an insane WWE career. He beat Cena in his first main roster match, and then had two more AWESOME matches. He was Universal Champion. He and Sami have had how many classics against each other, just in WWE alone?
And then, to top it all of, he main events WM against one of the biggest stars ever? Yea, nothings topping that.

Look, man, just because Hulk Hogan wanted to be Mr. America for a night and got caught for it doesn’t mean it wasn’t still Mr. America. Hence, infalliable!

Owens re-signing with WWE and getting a Wrestlemania main event with freaking STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN is one of the best modern examples of one betting on themselves in wrestling.

People still think Ezekiel is Elias? *shakes head* There’s a picture of them together. Not sure how that’s not proof enough.

That is the best problem to have Kev.
No one else is ever going to get that honor (unless Austin wrestles another match but completely doubt it).
