Courtesy of Sean Ross Sapp:
Fightful Select has learned that Malcolm Bivens is no longer under WWE contract and has been released by the company.
We're told that WWE had pushed him to re-sign with the company both last year, which did result in a short extension. Bivens had been asked about re-signing an extension in February and he made it clear he did not want to re-sign.
Fightful has also learned that Dakota Kai has been released by the company.
List so far: Malcolm Bivens (Possible his contact expired) Dakota Kai Paige Prinzivalli aka Blair Baldwin (Referee) Harland Persia Pirotta Raelyn Divine, aka Jaylen Williams Mila Malani, aka Kellie Morga Draco Anthony, aka Reginald Chase Crews Sanjana George, aka Vish Kanya

So much for my optimism in the article in my sig but not surprised. I feared this with how she went from a focus to fed to Mandy. I was positive to be a good fan, soon I unleash my own reaper on how Dakota (and others) were misused.

Hoping this isn't the beginning of the spring cleaning wave, but man do both of these ones sting.

I love both Dakota and Malcolm. This is a bummer.

Sadly I figured that would be it for Dakota. Waste of a talent, she's dope. Hope she lands on her feet in a company that will appreciate her.
As for Malcolm Bivens, he will undoubtedly be her manager. The best manager in the business today.
Sad man. They'll be fine but it's sad that 2 great talents weren't used to the level they should have been.

Well here we go again.
Sad to see Bivens go but it was his choice so nothing else to really say but this is HUGELY damaging to the entire Diamond Mine act IMO.
Poor Dakota Kai though but this has been a long time coming though because they saw absoloutley nothing in her beyond staying in NXT as the gatekeeper I guess...and now that just leaves Io.

How do you just let Bivens go and not back a dumptruck full of money up to his house weekly until he re-signs?

They’ll be just fine. They’re hyper talented.

Well Bivens will be going to AEW to be a manager right? Like full stop, dude's so f***ing talented I assume that's why he didn't re-sign
I'd push to sign Dakota too, if AEW is signing main roster wrestlers at this point barring a big release I think they should really add to their women's roster depth and Dakota would be perfect. What they did to her on the latter half of her NXT run was just sad...

Both are too good not to be on TV every week.
Some sad news into possible good news is DA BIG Dawg on nL soon?

She'll do well, but still pisses me off and out of respect, I was optimistic but no more. Maybe I should force my lazy a** to delve into her Evie work instead of dropping the project since it might be a good resource to her fanbase now. If anyone can help with backstory, video content or even twitter promo send me DM.

Mods? Might be time to unlock the releases thread and merge before the storm comes.

Roddy and Io are all that is left of the black and gold brand now.
Put them on the clock.

I liked Bivens a lot. AEW def about to snag him up for a group
Kai will def move around as well and her value back. She’s been itching to do something for a long while
