But tell us how you really feel? I will. And not only that, the US Spinner was dripped out. I legitimately think the Spinner was the best design the US Title ever had.

Honestly that belt has grown on me just because of how frankly boring the world title belts have been since then. I think a lot of the grossness at the time was almost certainly because of the association with the worst excesses of the Super Cena era, and because for most of that time period you had the Big Gold Belt still around on the other show looking way more legit and dignified.
In hindsight I feel kind of the same way as I do about the scratch logo changing to the current logo. It definitely overstayed its welcome, and it was cool when it finally changed, but since then I've realized they both had way more personality than their painfully bland and corporate replacements. Not to say that I want either of them back as they're both very much products of their time, but it just IMO draws more attention to how unmemorable the current looks are.

But tell us how you really feel? I will. And not only that, the US Spinner was dripped out. Preaching to the choir my friend, Cena’s my all time favourite and I’ve got replicas of both of them hanging proudly in my nerd room. I was on MySpace(!) in 2006 at the height of Cena hate getting literal death threats because my page was blinged out in Cena graphics. Dude is the 🐐 for me. It’s just I see your posts on here quite often and the hostility to anyone with a slightly differing opinion on Cena is quite aggressive at times when there’s really no need. He’s pretty universally appreciated now, never let comments you got about being a Chain Gang Soldier 15+ years ago make you feel you need to be on defence mode whenever the guy’s mentioned. I know I don’t. 👌🏻

I feel like ideally Punk should've been the one to get rid of it, but Rock getting the scratch logo title felt right, too.

That design sold like crazy. I remember my brother making his own spinner belt out of cardboard because the toy version wasn’t out yet

I liked it alot once it stopped spinning honestly.
It was big and shiny and looked important to me, as the WWE title should look.
Attitude era belt is still my all time favorite tho

And here I am preferring the current logo. Simple yes, but that's just the way of a bunch of logos for things nowadays. Maybe would have been better if the company was still WWF, dunno. Either way that's just coming from a guy that never liked the scratch logo in either F or E form.

Because it was a great f***ing belt and I'm sick of everyone knocking it. I'll take both Cena Spinners over the boring ass Undisputed title any day. I have no problem over Cena’s spinner. As a preteen, I loved both the US and wwe championship spinner. But I feel like those belts were meant for Cena and Cena only. It looked odd when someone like Triple H wore it

People love to knock the spinner because of how gaudy, ugly, and garish it looks but at least it had a unique design and character:
This belt has a few unique elements I like such as the eagles, the crown, the olive branch in the sideplates... Get rid of the bling and modify the plate shapes a bit it would look fine for any champion IMO.
This on the other hand:
Is pretty dull. It looks like a giant ring. It's just the company logo in jewels with the side plates behind a globe with more jewels(yes, I know you can change the sideplates big friggin whoop). I wouldn't have a problem with this design if it wasn't being used for several other belts but in different colors.
But, it looks like something any schmoe can hold now so it looks more "legit" and I keep forgetting that "legit" is supposed be synonymous with "generic" and "boring".

I just assumed laziness. They just didn’t feel like making a new one until The Rock won it.

It wasn't the worst-looking title, but definitely wasn't best-looking to be offered, especially at a time when the Big Gold was still an active championship. If I have to compliment the spinner, I'll say that it still looks better than that TNA Immortal Championship belt as well as the current WWE palette swap titles.

I unironically liked the spinner belt. It just had a lot of personality that's lacking in the current belts. yeah, as I said the current belt designs are boring and uninspired... I'll go up a level.
Just going through a glance of the new belts in WWE 2k22(I'm a lapsed fan), outside of the main belts, UpUpDownDown, and the 24/7, I think these designs straight up suck and I've NEVER said that about a belt. Not even the ketchup strap belt.

Problem was the Spinner Belt just didn't look good on anyone outside of Cena.
Always looked odd on Triple H.. Sure Edge briefly had the Rated R version and I guess that was alright.
I feel the Title outstayed it's welcome after awhile.

I hated the spinning version of it but when it stopped spinning the design of it was great and has become way better in that years since and I actually liked it. The spinning US title was okay but that design was different and it was the US title.
