Here are my Raw Thoughts:
Why the hell are we getting all of these title matches with no build? As much as I want the titles to be defended, they shouldn't be random matches.
Cool, the return of Miz & Mrs. on June 6. It gives me something to watch on DVR the next day since the broadcast shows will be ending soon.
Incredible match between RK-Bro & The Street Profits. I love that it got a lot of time. Riddle has been awesome doing the RKOs & Ford is insane.
Awesome, they brought back the stage to do live interviews like they used to do back in the day. Much better than backstage. Pretty good interview with Theory. At least they gave a reason why Cody Rhodes is randomly getting a US Title Match.
Excellent segment with The Judgment Day. Edge was great as usual. Damian Priest was good. Rhea Ripley was great. I love how it was Edge that made Ripley turn on Liv Morgan. I can't wait to see what happens next with them.
Very good match between Liv Morgan & Rhea Ripley I love this new version of Ripley. Love Finn Balor & AJ Styles coming out together and then going straight to Balor VS Damian Priest which we have seen before, but I don't mind.
Finn Balor VS Damian Priest was a great match, but I didn't like the DQ Finish. There's no reason why Balor couldn't get pinned there. It was fun while it lasted not having Disqualifications on Raw. I like The Judgement Day’s attack on Balor & AJ Styles afterwards.
Hilarious segment with The Alpha Academy & Kevin Owens. Only Owens can make this stupid storyline with Ezekiel work.
OK VIP Lounge with MVP, Omos, Cedric Alexander, & Bobby Lashley. I don't mind them continuing the feud. I liked that they're using Alexander.
OK segment with Sonya Deville & Adam Pearce.
What the Hell, Alexa Bliss is back. Actually, I'm not shocked since I belong to Fightful Select. I like that Sonya Deville is no longer an official & just a wrestler.
Damn, Alexa Bliss’ 1st match since Elimination Chamber & it was like 30 seconds. That's BS. She deserved to have a longer match. Sonya Deville reacting like that was ridiculous.
Kevin Owens coming out as his "older brother, Ken" to face Ezekiel was hilarious. The attack by The Alpha Academy was good. It continues the feud without them having matches.
Good segment with Adam Pearce, Asuka, & Becky Lynch. I love Lynch using logic to explain why Asuka shouldn't get a match against Bianca Belair. Love Asuka calling Lynch a baby.
I like they interviewed Veer Mahaan’s opponent. Another week with another squash by Mahaan. It's getting boring. I miss Mahaan being on Main Event having competitive matches against the likes of T-BAR & Apollo Crews.
LOL. This isn't Cody Rhodes’ 1st ever US Championship Match. He wrestled John Cena on Raw on April 6, 2015 & competed in Battle Royals for the US Title on Smackdown & Raw. But nonetheless, it was a good interview for Rhodes.
Why are they introducing Cody Rhodes again? He was introduced before the commercial. For the record, I have no idea when the last time 2 wrestlers from the same city wrestled each other for a title. Maybe @wwestats knows.
I called it. I figured Cody Rhodes VS Theory would end in a DQ. It was too soon for Theory to lose the US Title & for Rhodes to lose a match. After not having a DQ for 3 weeks, we got 2 in the same show. I Like what Seth Rollins did to set up their potential HIAC Match.
They're finally using Nikki A.S.H. & Doudrop & they don't get an entrance. That's not fair to them. They were treated as jobbers too in their match against Sasha Banks & Naomi, which wasn’t that good.
How disrespectful is that? While the angle is still going on between Nikki A.S.H. & Doudrop, they bring The Miz out. Finish one thing before starting the next segment.
Again, they do Entrances during the commercial. That is a slap in the face to both Mustafa Ali & Ciampa. Stop treating your WWE Superstars as Enhancement Talents. They are amazing wrestlers that deserve better than this.
What a horrible match between 2 of the best wrestlers on the roster, Mustafa Ali & Ciampa. It was overshadowed by The Miz as a Referee. If I was Ali, I would have stayed home & not come back & if I was Ciampa, I would have never moved up to the main roster.
We have already seen Lacey Evans’ story on Smackdown for the last 6 weeks. There's no point in redoing everything on Raw. What a waste of time.
Really, they're doing Bobby Lashley VS Omos in a Steel Cage? I don't know how I feel about that.
Reggie & Akira Tozawa cleaning up nice after they both wrestled on Main Event earlier tonight. The only saving grace for that segment with them, Dana Brooke, & Tamina was R-Truth, who’s hilarious.
Wow. All weekend, NXT was hyping that tomorrow's NXT will be Women's Night with 4 women's matches scheduled. Yet, the women were not mentioned in the commercial. No one cares about Bron Breakker VS Joe Gacy.
What Bullcrap. The 1st ever 1-on-1 match between Asuka & Bianca Belair takes place with no hype, lasts 4 minutes, & ends in the 3rd DQ of the night. Asuka should have never come back. Becky Lynch’s interference was stupid. They need to move on from Belair VS Lynch.
I did enjoy most of Raw. The Tag Team Titles, Morgan/Ripley, Balor/Priest, & the US Title Match were all awesome. Everything else was crap, especially the return of Alexa Bliss & the 1st ever matches between Ali & Ciampa and Asuka & Belair.
